  1. So if I set protection to say 220, it should even out a bit. And yeah, made some changes, my fuel map is in progress. Had done some adjustment previously with a loose fitting upstream of the WBO2.
  2. Have a mostly OEM 3S GTE Gen3 in my Celica ST205 have replaced the OEM boost control with a 3-Port MAC. I have my Boost target set to 215kpa, but when I get to about 205-210kpa, its hitting an ignition cut somewhere and backfiring/dropping revs. I have looked around and can't figure out what's causing the cut. Protection is set to 216kpa. PC Datalog - 2024-01-7 1;15;56 pm.llgx Lucy-Gettinclose-16may.pclx
  3. Thats what I was where my thinking was starting to lead me, and first thing I am checking after I get off work. Update. That was the problem. Many betters
  4. Ok, like title says, I have a Celica ST205 running stock turbo. Just installed a new 2 wire MAC for boost control. Using the same two leads as the original TVSV, PWM test cycles the valve correctly. TVSV plumbing is capped off. Set originally very similar to AdamW suggestions on an older post. Boost stopped building at 50kpa MGP. Added 10 to the duty cycle, Same results. Did this several times over, to what I have now, but still only seeing about 50kpa MGP. At a loss at this point. Any pointers? PC Datalog - 2022-05-17 10;06;15 pm.llgx Lucy-Gettinclose-16may.pclx
  5. Well that worked for idle up control... But Aux6 did not actually engage AC and make it blow cold; Ign4 does. My work-around was take what has been done and remove idle up command from tune. This makes it idle up to about the right RPM (900ish) when AC is turned on.
  6. Seemed to do most the trick. Have some rpm fluctuations to sort out. But better result. PC Datalog - 2022-04-7 3;33;31 pm.llgx
  7. I will give that the ol try and see what comes of it.
  8. Good evening, Trying to clean up a few things on my engine. Gen 3 3S-GTE in my Celica ST205. Have idle set and working fairly well... until I turn on AC. Base Idle target is 800 with +50 compensation for AC on but engine revs to about 1200. Cant figure out why at this point. Have no additional fuel enrichments. ICV drops really low; 1% with AC on. The other issue I am running into is intermittent ignition cut under moderate acceleration that are very noticable. And random fuel cuts to 100% on log though have not seen or felt the effects of that going down road. I will have to upload that tomorrow or this weekend as my current log with that data is too large. raz1-adfAFR-wg100-aemcal1.pclx
  9. Does anyone have any pointers to control the stock wastegate with the stock T-VSV on this engine thru the G4X? Seems like im not getting much more than spring pressure. Trying to get to about 16psi in total. Any recommended wastegate duty cycles? The ecu is operting the T-VSV.

    Celica ST205

Well I was able to mostly correct the previous issue, for some reason a cell in the idle area got set to something ridiculously low but got that sorted. Have ECU wired in, wideband added and functioning with provision for retaining the oem narrowband because... why not. However, still have some issues on idle. RPM surging especially when cold, and even though AC Idle up is set at 100 rpm, it goes to almost 2k rpm. Attached are cold startup log and map. ANother issue noticed when driving last is that when warm it doesn't want to go below 1500 rpm when coming to a stop and will stay high reving unless you force the rpms down with the clutch and gear. Don't have a log of that just yet.
  11. Go to where your tune is stored on your computer and attach that file.
  12. Like to see maybe 5-10 crimp on terminals that fit the oem plugs come with the plug and play ecus. Maybe also a simple non warranty voiding allocation for the unused pins to be connected to the expansion loom pins.

My apologies, thought i had turned that off. raz1.pclx

    Celica ST205

Good day. Have a 1995 Celica ST205 that i am trying to get idle dialed in. Overall, idle is OK. Not great. Very rich. But stable, mostly. Every few minutes sporadically it will try and stall, recover and idle fine. Looking at IGN Table 1, at idle the ignition advance is at 20-22. Should this be adjusted to 10? Have idle speed set for 750 RPM. Triggers set for 10deg BTDC. Injector timing at 380. AC idle up and Fan idle up work. Have attached tune map below. Will try and get a log and post later of idle when it stumbles.
