    No injection, 4age 16v

Think I found the issue, when I wiggle the wires in the injector connectors they start to pulse on test mode. Going to order some fresh connectors as these must easily be 30+ years old.

So its not like a conventional ECU where the injectors have 12V on both pins until the ECU provides an earth? There is 12V on one side from the main relay. Could this be an injector issue? TriggerScopeLog-Escort4age.llgx

No pulse at injectors when carrying out injector test. The log attached is taken when trying to crank, if I've done it right that is. I know that its showing an ECT error and that's soon to be sorted.PCLink.ex PC Datalog - 2021-11-13 7;47;18 pm.llgx

Me again...sorry to be such a noob I don't seem to be getting any power to my injectors from the ecu. I have 12V ignition feed and 0V (not earth) from the ecu. This is the same on all 4 injector lines when back probed at the ecu connector and at the injector end. Is there a setting somewhere that I've missed? escort 4age 11-11-21.pclx

    No spark issues, 4age 16v

Im not using the stock ignitor. This ignitor has 3 wires, it gets its 12v from the -ve side of the coil and has a separate earth to the engine block. Check both my coils at work and both failed so seems like that was my issue. Checked wiring to ignitor as Adamw had said all good. Thanks for the help

Excuse the crap drawing but this is basically the wiring to the coil/ignitor

Thanks Adam, a star as always. I had the signal and earth wires back to front. I've sorted that now (trigger scope attached) but I've still got no spark. I've tried the ignition test and my scope picks up that the coil -ve is clicking so my guess is that the wiring to the ignitor/coil is correct. I've also tried my spare coil and get the same result. 8. Back again.... I've installed a 24/1 tooth dizzy in the car, I've even tried using the original 24/4 tooth dizzy with 3 teeth ground off on the top trigger wheel to see if that makes a difference. I'm currently getting no spark so I'm unable to set the base timing. I'm using a single chanel ignitor from NZEFI and a link map sensor as well. I'm sure that that just missed something obvious but for the life of me can't see what it is. I've noticed that I'm also clocking up a lot of trigger errors as well. Any advice/guidance/pointers would be much appreciated Thanks in advance TriggerScopeLog 31-10-22.llgx base map from link.pclx
  9. Thanks, I'll get the dizzys swapped over
  10. Thanks for the map Adam. Will give it a try at the weekend. Another question, my dizzy has 24 teeth at bottom and 4 on top for triggering. I have a spare dizzy with 24 and 1. Which is the best one to use? Thanks again
  11. Hello everyone. I'm hoping that someone on here will have what I need or be able to give me some pointers. Just got a new Atom and wired it up yesterday. I read somewhere about installing the base map supplied through the pc link software, but for the life of me can't find either a generic Atom base map or even better a base map for the Toyota 4age 16v motor. I'm sure that I'll have plenty more questions as time passes. Many thanks in advance.
