    Thankyou for the input adam , i will do some more logging and see how the shifting goes. i havent had much time behind the wheel so not sure on how the lever felt at max rpm as i was a bit preoccupied. i do see that i hit the limiter on the 2-3 shift so that might also have effected that shift so i will keep it as it is for further testing

    Hi, managed to do a bit more driving and now looking to see if i can drop the shift time down a bit based on the logs. my main shift min duration is currently 50ms and the torque reintroduction time is 40ms . (noticed 20ms suggested in another discussion) if i have end shift mode as gear barrel position and shift fast am i still limited by the main shift min duration time?

    Hi , just looked over the log and i think 6th gear should be 4.37v not 4.10v so i have inputed that instead . it seems that the 4.10 reading was when the gear had not engaged fully and i was just coasting till i reshifted

    Tried some more testing and in higher gear it is not making it into the next gear. driver error?or something else . i think the cut is triggering to early maybe with the lever force set at 40N max shift value is 208N ? wot do u think?

    Hi, here is a short log shifting earlyish in the powerband. speed reading is correct but for mph not kph so prob due to having a kph to mph convertor on the car. PC Datalog - 2023-03-17 12;58;20 pm flatshift.llgx

    The speedo is working , its a vss in the transfer box housing/ end of gearbox current calibration number is 123, i should have a chance to compare the reading to gps speedo in the next few days and will alter the calibration to get it more precise

    Not sure if the speed has been calibrated, will have to check. I do have 2 sensors on the box itself which i am lead to believe are input shaft and output shaft speed sensors. would these be better?

    Hi thanks for replying. this is the g4x gtr plugin fyi on skyline r33 gtr 1. There is an electronic speed sensor in the back of the transferbox for the speedo , possibly also a wheel speed sensor on front wheels iirc 2. gear ratios are 2.706 - 1.894 -1.471 - 1.184 - 1.00 - 0.812 3. yes car is running , dyno mapped on wastegate pressure

Trying to get the gear shift control setup for flatshifting or at least close so i can log and fine tune the settings. i am running a ppg 6spd sequential with rotary position sensor and load cell/strain gauge. i have setup the voltages for the gear barrel position as advised and am happy that it is reading correctly. other settings i have looked thru the helpfile to get a rough setup. any help would be much appreciated. current 811hp map.pclx
  15. oh , think i put it on wrong i had it on an temp 3 , but now i see that says engine oil temp, i will swap it around and try again. just wired the contamination sensor up to the 5v ecu output instead of 12v and it is reading 0.5v from the signal wire . so i guess the sensor just has the wrong print on the outside very odd.

Yes , exactly. i need to run the signal wire to the enginebay (to the afm connector) which i hadnt got aound to so was trying to get a reading and that way an idea of my oil condition. was surprised to see 10v . i guess i could see what 5v input voltage does to the signal voltage output , maybe the sensor was labelled wrongly at factory.. does the temp sensor settings look correct on my map, and now the contaminant settings ? also am i correct in using any of the sensor grounds to wire the temp sensor? it doesnt have to be on the same expansion slot? thanks for helping
  17. Hi, yeah the oil contamination signal wasnt wired up yet, shouldnt be on an temp i was just looking at the settings wasnt meant to save it on that one. I now have it on the an volt 4 input via the afm rear signal wire. and have set up a calibration table vs % reading regarding the version - I am going by what is written on the sensor, it came already installed on my ppg sequential. paul r33gtr 811map pump fuel gate.pclx
  18. Hi, here is the file , the contamination sensor has 8-16vdc as the input voltage so i have wired it to the ignition/batt 12v switched. though it does seem to be playing up as its giving out 10v when it states 0-4.5v output on it very odd. paul r33gtr 811map pump fuel gate.pclx

So I have a gearbox oil contamination sensor which outputs 0-4.5v dependent on metal in the oil. the sensor also has a 2 wire pt1000 temp sensor. i wired the two temp sensor wires to an temp 3 and and sensor gnd via the expansion cable.. i then added a calibration table based on resistance vs temperature . 1000ohm = 0c , 1573 = 150c . when i check sensor resistance with my multimeter it is showing 1100c right around 25c which is correct.. the g4x is showing error and reading 5v not sure what i have done wrong. also with the oil contamination sensor reading 0-5v output . where can i wire this into? any help is much appreciated
  20. Thanks for the help. Turns out I had made a mistake when adding 360 previously (had already read about possibility of being on the wrong stroke) Anyway went back to 90° and fine tuned the base timing and fired straight up. Was a little lean so added some fuel at low rpm. Shud be able to get on the trailer now☺

Struggling to get r33 gtr to fire up. i have a 36-2 crank trigger and a cam sync fitted wired up as advised. looking to get it idling so it can be trailered to the dyno. could someone let me know what they think of my current trigger scope. next i am going to double check tdc markings on the ati balancer to true tdc and set base timing. (2.6L with 288duration cams, was idling on the previous ecu with nissan cas so all spark, fuel and cam timing is good) TriggerScopeLog 9.llgx gavs r33 gtr beast.pclx

  23. looking to wire a 3 pin hall sensor to a link g4x gtr plugin ecu. i have a 4 pin cas plug which i think will provide power and sensor ground . then do i want to wire one of the CAS trigger wires to the hall sensor output?? the Sensor is a motec 59110

Hi, i have a g4x plugin ecu in an r33 gtr and i am wanting to operate a nitrous solenoid to spool the turbo and separatly i want to switch on a relay to activate an electric pressure switch for my accusump under certain conditions (low pressure at high rpm) I see i can use aux 11 via the expansion pin 16 for 1 of them but what are my options to run the 2nd? i can't see much more free on the pinout diagram i have here,. could i use one of the fuel pump speed output pins(aux2) as an aux output if its not needed ? are aux 5 ,9 , 10 , 12 ,13, 14, 15, 16 not available on this ecu or am i misunderstanding? many thanks
