    gear display

@Adamw so here is my log i took of just driving around from 1st gear till 5th ..then again from stop 1st till 5th. what should i do next to get my gears to display in the pc link softwear. sorry had to use google drive as the file upload was bigger then allowed here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1X5huxkrvQvMxpB89LnkiULvPWkrwRHSh?usp=share_link

    gear display

hello, how do i get gears to display on my ecu pc link? evo 8 5 speed.
  6. @Adamw yes i know i will take the pin out of the oem cluster connector and i have disassembled the cluster with the niddles out and only using its circuit connected with the oem harness fooling the car too think the oem cluster is still attatched. the digital dash and the oem cluater all is working good... i just want the fuel level too show up on the powerdigital dash. i have a CAN based digital gauge cluster now which i want too have the fuel level displayed from powertunedigital so if my ecu sees thw fuel level i can have the digital dash display it.
  7. @Adamw yes its temp 3 at pin 77 thats what the my remote tuner told me too hook the fuel level sender too if not pin 77 where else can i hook it up too? i do have the stock cluster coz evos tractions and abs starts acting strange if its not hooked up to the oem cluster. if i hook up a 100ohm resister in btw the wire from the cluater to the ecu will it not dempen? or how and where do i need to hook up the resistor if not there and what size resistors. let me know.

    fuel level wiring

hello, im trying to get fuel level too show up in pc link on my jdm evo 7 my wiring guy told me too hook up signal wire from the oem gauge cluster as the evo has two floats so both sender units should be joined at the cluster... he told me he will hook up a wire from the cluster fuel level signal too pin # 77 on my ecu pin#77 being empty, my question is will that work to get the ecu too see fuel level? how do i tell the ecu thats pin#77 is fuel level sender signal?
  9. @Adamw on the diagram it shows that the fuel level sensor is supposed to have a ground? so i put extra ground on one of the sender sensors?
  10. yet thanks for the answer... ill have my electrician fix it ....lol you make mistakes you learn
  11. @Adamw when i took my evo 8 oem cluster off and my link lamda stopped working :/ as soon as i plugged it back it and it worked again... whats up with that? and im back to the drawing board, i cant remove my oem without the Lamda not working. i have no idea what link lamda has to do with Evo 8 oem cluster
  12. okay ill give it a go and report back if im stuck on anything. thanks @Adamwas always
  13. also im not sure but i think evo 8 fuel sender reads in ohms instead of voltages. so would i have to use i put units as ohms or volts on the pc link software? @Adamw
  14. @Adamw yes evo 8 has a saddle type tank meaning 2 fuel level sensors, do i need to empty my tank and put 25% then 50% 75% then 100% fuel to take reading and do input in the cels? i should be taking the voltage reading on the AN volt after i have combined the two level sensors in series with circuit you have provided? also on the diagram it shows that the fuel level sensor is supposed to have a ground? so i put extra ground on it or will my oem ground be okay?
  15. my car is a evo 8 and it has a saddle type fuel tank which im surw has 2 floats which makes it even harder for me to figure out how they would connect to give reading as one level. @Adamw please help as im out of ideas.

    fuel level config

hello, i have attached my evo 8 fuel level signal to my link g4+ an volt followling the diagram blow, how do i set up my ecu setting to get the fuel level display on my pc link? thanks.
  17. would you be so kind and look at the log i took... the 1st morning startup is still lean... but gets better quicker then before... how do i fix it?
  18. Thanks for the quick responce brother, i did the *1.15 but it was still a bit lean so i did *1.25 and it became so much better but the initial 1st start after when the car wakes up (moring start) is stil lean in the 17-18 but becomes better as the car gets warmer... did the log and map i saved please check it out and kindly tell me know how i can make the initial start richer or anything else i could change in the map so i get smooth start when starting from cold. also sorry noob question but will doing and this will not disturb any of my other settings like wot afr, idel or cruse? cold start log.llg cold start adjustment.pclr
  19. hello friends my evo 8 was tuned on pump and e85 a few weeks back , all is good on the tune that being the warm idel and cruse, wot ect. its just my cold start which is really lean and rough 17-19 AFR, it goes fine to 14-15 afr after 5mins of letting car warm up and becomes normal. my tuner caught covid so he cant fix it till he is back and well. can anyone help me fix the cold start? i have logged it. what changes i can make to fix the cold start without changing anthing else as im not a tuner, i can follow instructions if anyone is will to help me fix my cold start. following i have attatched my cold start log and my map. thanks Reduced_V12.pclr lean cold start.llg

    fuel level help

hi, i got a evo 8 with link g4+ tying to get fuel level too show up on my power tune digital dash. how do i hook up my fuel sender unit to my link ecu? thanks.
  21. @Adamw could you please help out with this too why i could be gettingnis map sensor error?? issue could be in map sensor now giving correct voltages or could it be my wiring which i can check if you recommend with volt meter... if map sensor is receiving 12v and ecu ia getting 5v coz i think this error i got fault code 14 has too go map sensor low voltage.
  22. i reuploaded the tune after i put back my own omni 4 bar map sensor after checking the omni map sensor off my frinds evo.... shouldn't that had cleared the code? and after the code came i taught maybe i didnt uploaded the map correctly so i upload again... but it still gave the volt 2 code... does uploading the map clear the code or its stored till i erase it? yes i saw the knock too could be coz of the map sensor either not working properly or faulty or there isn't loose connection i checked. could i shift to the internal link map sensor without a retune? or does that require a tune again? my current map sensor is a omnei 4bar and my evo pnp also has a 4 bar in built.
  23. update tuned out to be clogged injectors, thats why were seeing good fuel press but car remained Lean. BUT on my way back home from the shop i made a pull and logged it got a error code 14, AN volt 2 blow Error and and check light on the dash. can you please tell me why was this triggered looking at the log and map? i did 2 pulls and both showed the same, my tuner has covid so he isnt avaiable to help, and im worried what caused this error. revised_V3.pclr wot 1.llg
  24. now its even misfiring / hesitating on cruse with 30-40% TPS missing on cruz.llg
  25. here is my current map it was working perfectly since 1 month, but i have also shared 2 screen shoots and u can see map reading is low then it should be im not sure if ethnol content would effect that? i dont undersatnd why my car is misfiring and afr is lean triggering safty ( safty is on fuel press drop and AFR ) suddenly when fuel pressure is fine and coils are okay too, checked spark plugs too they are like new. revised_V4_LCon off.pclr 2 AND 3 PULL SAFTY.llg
