  1. this is where im at currently on the 70mm gm throttle(hitachi part) its running pretty happy and tracks target well with just a basic target table
  2. ha an issue with a 70mm alloytech v6 throttle not tracking target and would rapidly hunt returning to idle position on decel once it heat soaked a bit on the dyno , from memory we increased the frequency to around 700hz and reduced derivative seemed to sort it out

Hi guys wondering about the setup of resistor ladder switch inputs (xtreme for cruise control) im guessing a series parallel setup is going to be preferable over a straight parallel so it cant have a weird value if multiple switches are pressed at once?, for series circuit have added a 5th resistor so circuit will rest at 4.47v with no buttons and not be sitting in fault, i assume the parallel ladder may cause issues with no open circuit reference? have calculated the voltages based on using a temp channel with the 1k pullup (edit corrected my calculation sheet)

    ah yep miss the obvious that would work, so that will work fine with the 36-1 trigger and no cam sync?

    pairing injectors

    Hi wondering about pairing the injectors on a 6cylinder (old holden 3.3 ) run by monsoon multipoint group setup 36-1 crank trigger no cam sync firing order is 1,5,3,6,2,4 ignition is wasted spark 1,6 5,2 3,4 with the ecu firing odd and even drives separately what is the correct order to pair the injectors for best fuel distribution? 153 as one group & 624 as a second ? with the injection rate set to once per cycle having a 360 offset between odd and even injector drives (or am i better to change to twice per cycle?) this is how the old jettronic injectors were fired in the factory setup

Hi anyone have experience with the FD wheel speed sensors currently mapping out IO for a thunder running an FD RX7, wanting to pickup the front & rear wheel speed sensors (abs has been deleted)looking at the stock VR abs sensors wired direct to ecu, hoping these wont exceed the max input frequency and was wondering about the minimum pickup speed to have them reading (drag car build looking to measure slip front to rear for traction/launch control) are we better to run a VR to hall converter like this https://msel.co.nz/dmcd-dual-mag-to-hall-converter-gp/ or some sort of pulse scaler to not run out of input frequency? anyone have experience with the FD wheel speed sensors edit, I see adamw has referenced these before for abs sensors https://shop.vems.hu/catalog/hall-p-162.html which look like a viable option for frequency divider
  9. which way is the throttle mounted?, have seen issues with bosch throttles doing odd things and binding when in particular mounting configurations this is from the bosh manual

  12. got it all working on the bench, forgot to mention its all on CAN2 off the B plug but that was easy enough to copy over, iv attached the file from the dash if you have a chance to setup the fuel level to display woul be much appreciated, thanks again fort the helpmxg 1.2 strada - link config brendan rx2.aimcfg

  14. Hi @Adamw have had a play with the software, and added a file to the drive link, hopefully Im on the right track i cant seem to figure out the manual control or pin functions from CAN, can you have a look at some stage please, need to get this thing powered up this week for final testing

  16. Slowly struggling my way thru the PDM setup, how do i setup control for basic on with ignition, I'm Assuming i need to set up a GP logic? what parameter am i looking for to set this, also having issues with the PDM software randomly crashing and exiting latest version 1.4.86

  18. was planning to have all engine related stuff run by the pdm, cooling fans fuel pumps, power to ecu, injectors coils etc. assuming seperate pdm outputs for ecu/ injectors together & coils seperate will be fine for the dead times? running 4x ign1a coils (13b turbo) will that need to be split across 2 outputs for the current load or will 1 high output be fine?) running dual intank efi pumps , single large spal cooling fan which will use up 3 of the high current outputs, the 4th Im thinking for the coils, low current outputs for: lift pump, 1 for injectors/ecu, can lambda, Dash & keypad another question do the Strada dashes allow digital inputs on the IO connector? (can only see analogues in the pinout online), I need to get indicators & high beam, handbrake into the dash or will this need to come in on ecu/PDM IO

Hi Guys About to plan out a wiring loom for a customer, got a razor pdm, xtreme g4x ecu, can keypad, MXS dash & can lambda, got a couple questions about best setup Ignition switch- we are keeping the stock rx2 body wiring so Key will turn it on and either key switch or keypad button to start, am I best to run the ignition on input to the razor and then the razor powers up all required ignition circuits? Otherwise I'm assuming would need to switch the main 12v to the ecu? With this many CAN devices run them all on one bus or split them up? Will probably need some assistance getting all the configuration to behave once I start programming it all but thats a problem for later me to deal with.
  20. from memory the altezza plug in has specific control board setup to be able to communicate with the toyota BEAN system, adam will be able to confirm, pretty sure the wire ins cant talk toyota BEAN

Iv done a couple conversions with the 3sge beams and j160, with both factory ecu and a monsoon, both times we have fitted a mechanical drive and run speedo cable in old 80s toyotas (83 corona & 86 starlet), factory ecu doesnt seem to care it has no speed signal. SQ engineering sell the mechanical drive kit for the j160, also available from toyota if you can find someone helpful in parts cant remember the part numbers we got off hand. we fitted the additional factory temp and oil sensors the dash needed along side the ecu sensors, and I modified the the tach by putting in a lower resistance primary signal input resistor so it would read a low level signal form the ecu
  22. Will need to contact the dealer the ecu was purchased from with the serial number, and they will sort you the unlock code to enter in pclink

    1uzfe cam sensors

    Hi Guys question on wiring up a 1uzfe non vvti, will be monsoon x,(paired injectors & standard dizzy ignition) do I need both cam sensors with bank 2 wired to a DI, or just the leading bank to trig 2?
  24. changed out some power supply wiring and got it running today on the original nissan opto 360 trigger, looks like a machining issue with the yelsha wheel spigot not sitting true/flush into the RB cam sprocket was getting trigger ok green in status bar but no rpm and trigger error count increasing by 1 every time I stopped cranking it, didn't look like obvious change on the scope trace but is a pretty basic scope meter i have even tried a different spacer on the VR sensor and was getting partial rpm signal but giving trigger errors as it dropped in and out as . Rang and discussed with Simon on tech support and worked out that must be missing some teeth as the distance is changing and not seeing correct pattern (Thanks for the help Simon)
  25. Thanks Adam, will try again next time im over there, was getting some weird issues with the cars factory wiring dropping voltage so will sort that out and see how it goes
