Yeah was out of fuel, I topped it up. Ow no drops but still doing it.

No haven’t had the loom out, just resheathed from the front of it to where it attaches to firewall. Only took injector and coil connectors off. Have checked so many times. Don’t seem to be any issues with terminals properly seated.

Ok, I just changed the belts and didn’t tighten alternator belt in that log. With alternator working, it’s no different. it’s a g4x top board on a g4+ lower board. Issue is not the g4x here as it did the same thing with the g4+ attached. Yes wrong cal table was selected, didn’t have the linear cal table selected. I’m completely stumped, trigger scope looks good. Individual tests of injectors and coils is all ok. We have compression, spark and fuel. What am I missing.

For some reason my car will only run on the front 3 cyl. have changed out coils, today connected it to picoscope. did injectors test, and coil tests. Each corresponding injector / coil functions properly in the test. It started after I reshethed the loom. with ecu on bench and nothing plugged in, aux 2 and 3 show error state. when I’m car they show error but still work. When cranking and barely running aux 5 also shows error state. I’m out of ideas.

I cannot believe that dimming the display from an input attached to the headlights is not already a feature. I would jump straight on the input dimm option if it were available. some more dash templates too, as there is a huge lack of things like boost gauges etc in the currently available ones. Such a good piece of hardware, just let down so much by not being able to make your own layouts. im actually considering moving to a dash that allows the user to create the ui.

I have a G4+ running ethrottle, I did the board modification. I had a G4x top board and swapped them over. Trying to setup ethrottle, I think the error I got was something about no h bridge. the information available says the 4x plugins have ethrottle but need a board mod. I assumed the mod was to the bottom board. is there also something needs doing to the top board to enable ethrottle or am I just having a brain fart and missing a setting somewhere?

I love this dash it’s amazing but the layouts are quite few and very limited in in some respects. Is there a a way or a source of more layouts? the aim plug and play version for motorbike etc seem to have all the good layouts. can’t even really add a boost gauge in all bar 3 of the layouts, even then they are less than desirable.

What about timers? Is there a way to setup timer so like, 20 seconds off, 30 seconds on, that constantly repeats. otherwise I will just make a thermostat circuit. or is there a go to thermo that people use in this situation?

Yes the correct plug fires. I never touched that part of the loom. Also I noticed my fuel pressure was sitting higher than before, at 35 psi, used to be 30. Have played around with fuel pressure, no different. I just removed cover and checked for snapped intake cam, now removing exhaust cover to check for snapped exhaust cam. I did degree the cams and install splash plates also. I will double check tdc. it’s the most bizarre thing. I did chop off a few connectors, the iac and aac. Few other unused ones like tps. I did also install Bosch donut knock sensors and connect them to factory wiring. Could injectors be blocked? Likleyhood? when I do ignition test it is very quiet but can definitely hear the spark plugs.

Have not, I shall try it. also in the ignis there is an ax evap temp. Looks like ax temp is controlled by ecu and not the climate control system. Ax is just on all the time. Is there any way to to use the temp input to control with ecu. ?

Hello, I have an old top board I’m going to put in my wife’s sti. Its serial number is pre 10,000 and needs the mod. Could I please get some instructions on this, I make electronics for a living so ability, equipment to carry this out is not an issue. Cheers

Hello, what’s the process for getting an ecu looked at. I’m not sure this has ever even been unlocked let alone used. would like to get it looked at and repaired if possible. what’s the procedure for sending in for service? please advise so I can get this sent off ASAP. im in Australia if that changes anything.
