Howdy, I am planning on using the G4RET throttle controller to use an e46 accelerator pedal (dbw) with an m50/e36x setup. Looking at the wiring diagrams for it and the ecu, it looks like pedal gets 5v and ground from ecu expansion cable and sends signals to the analog inputs on the ecu expansion cable, then the isc pins are repurposed to go to the ethrottle controller, e throttle controller then goes to throttle body. I have a couple questions about this, though.
1. the ethrottle controller has an enable wire that it says goes to the ethrottle relay auxiliary. I don't know where this connects to, other threads I have seen on it don't seem very clear, especially in regards to the e36x. Would I just tie this to the 5v output that goes to the pedals or does it have to go somewhere else?
2. under the ethrottle section for the e36x, it says "Two Analog inputs are available on the expansion connector and so a 3rd will need to be re-purposed". My throttle pedal has 2 signals that I am aware of (6 pins, 2 ground, 2 5v reference, 2 signals). What does the 3rd have to be repurposed for or is it optional if you only have 2 signals?
I'd rather not run dbc as the setup will be going in a late e46 and I don't feel like sourcing the whole dbc pedal assembly from an early one and trying to make it fit/work
