  1. Thanks Adam, I've also had to adjust the step count for the stepper valve because with the default 200 steps it wasn't enough to have the valve repeatably open fully at 100% and close at 0%. I've had to adjust it to 270 steps, then let the valve reset and then test and I can now repeatably get it fully open/fully closed at 0% and 100%, Its the Peugeot/Citroen Magneti Marelli 4 pin stepper with the two inner pins and two outer pins being the coils. Before I don't think the stepper was resetting properly and one minute the car would start and idle, the next it would start and rev its tits off. I have yet to put it back together but have I approached this correctly setting wise? The hold power wiring is correct and working correctly. thanks
  2. Hi, Could I have some classification please on the RPM lockout field found within the idle speed control setup, When using a 4 wire bipolar stepper on open loop this option is RPM lockout and then changes to RPM Lockout above target when on closed loop. I think I'm over confusing this but is this as it reads, I.e. with open loop if you set it to 2000rpm then the idle control will shut off at 2000rpm and in closed loop with a target of 900rpm it will shut off at 2900rpm? I think this has caused me a few headaches because I didn't realise the option changed when switching between open and closed loop and having initially set it to 1000rpm for closed loop I've switched back to open loop and something was causing me a headache and I think this may be it. thanks
  3. Hi all, I have managed to get my car running and so I am just starting the first basic adjustments. I have it idling however I am getting the warning message about the fuel being clamped to the min effective pulse width. I have ran the car for a few thousand miles on a different ecu and the engine usually idles around 35kpa around a 1.90-2ms PW(including DT). Fuel pressure at 3bar although 315kpa is what the new sensor reads. 2.0Ltr 4 cylinder I'm using 550cc Bosch EV14 injectors part number 0280 158 279 and the only data I can find is from ford which they seem to match the M-9593-LU47. Would anyone have any correct injector data for the G4X injector drives and also is it normal to keep seeing the warning about fuel being clamped to minimum? These aren't particularly big injectors. I have attached my most recent map and the datasheet for the injectors, would anyone be able to run there eye's over the dead time and fuel figures please to see if I have made any obvious mistakes? Thanks ( PS I'm setting up using the modelled fuel equation) Fury-306-map.pclx m-9593-lu47.pdf
  4. Hi all, My pdm software keeps crashing and Its getting rather frustrating now and I then have to spend half hour trying to reset the dam thing and sometimes as I reset it wipes the saved file blank so I would like to ask for some help in figuring out why it's doing it. I have the software open and then turn on and off outputs via the pin configuration and then it randomly crashes and goes white screen and non responsive. It may take an hour or so to do it. I've uploaded 2 pdm configs so I don't know if they will help. Software is 1.5.93 and pdm firmware is the latest revision. Thanks 306Fury.pdmc New Configuration.pdmc
  5. I've had several issues with my PDM during setup. The main reoccurring issue I have is something gets corrupted and then when you go to change the mode of a pin in Pin configuration from high etc to off It instantly crashes. When the issue occurs I've tried restarting both the software and PDM, restarting my laptop, clearing app data and the only solution is to reset the PDM via the menu option under PDM in the top left corner of the software. I've also found that while there is an error and things are crashing, trying to save the configuration then wipes the configuration file and leaves it blank so I make sure I've copied the config file to a different place now. Try resetting the Pdm if you haven't and then reuploading the config to it.

    Correct triggers

Hi, Would it be possible if anyone would be able to have a look at a trigger scope log which I have created and check that all looks correct, to me it does but I'm an enthusiast at best and not a professional if you get what I mean. Thanks TriggerScopeLog-Final (2).llgx
  7. The injection timing of 400 degrees btdc is the pre-set figure in the link software, As far as I understand its referenced from the beginning of the power stroke. A full 360 degrees would then align it to the beginning of the intake stroke. Plus the additional 40 degrees. Your Injection Timing position is most likely set to end of injection so your injection would have finished by 40 degrees or 22% into the intake stroke which would typically be when the valve is fully open.

    Fuel temperature

Hi, I'm after some advice on the location of a fuel temp sensor. I'm going to be using the 'Modelled' fuel mode so I have fitted a pressure sensor on the fuel rail via a braided hose to protect the sensor. Without thinking I've fitted a Bosch combination sensor with an inbuilt temperature sensor and built my new loom to suite. It's now sunk in that I'm going to be getting inaccurate fuel temperature readings because the sensor isn't in the fuel flow. The sensor is located to the left of the engine sort of in front of the suspension tower so its away from a heat source. Would this be sufficient? The car isn't anything crazy and it will be 300-400HP 2LTR 4 cyl 16V. Thanks
  9. Hi, I'm looking to change coils to the Bosch P65-T coils, These definitely have inbuilt drivers but I can't find whether they will be compatible with the links 5v ignition drivers and I want to be certain they will work correctly before purchasing. Would anyone be able to confirm if they will work correctly? Thanks in advance Craig
  10. If you have wired a fuse in between the ignition switch and the ecu ignition digital input as per the drawing, Pull the fuse out and test either side of the fuse carrier. If you have the voltage on ecu side you know its back feeding or the pull up is enabled in software.
  11. Thank you Adam and the team for confirming. One last thing would be if I decided that I needed the additional 25a output would I be able to transfer the supply to the 14v+ ecu which is supplied from high output 3 in the drawing to one of the Adio 8 amp pins? I would obviously have to move any solenoids etc to a separate Adio output to share the load. Would that be okay?
  12. Okay thanks I'll wait for there feedback.
  13. I will be using it for a 4 wire idle stepper valve.
  14. Hi all, Would anyone have a drawing or a description of how the hold power could be implemented when the razor PDM is used to supply all the power to the ecu and auxiliary systems? I've brought the PDM to get rid of relays so Ideally I don't want to use any conventional 4 pin relays. I've attached a picture of what I've come up with so far. I wont be using E-Throttle. Thanks Kind regards Craig
