  1. Afternoon all, not sure if this is the right place to be posting this, feel free to delete if not. I have a new set of ID1050xds, and just trying to work out deadtimes, it seems as if there are varying deadtimes and PW adder data posted at the various different points on the ID site. (see below datasets) can anyone confirm whats best or most likely to be correct? thanks

    Overrun fuel cut

Thanks all, Makes a lot more sense, i think it was the original help file that stumped me, the steps on the bottom of the page that @Adamw posted explain the process much better in the fuel cut operating after the timing has been fully reduced.

    Overrun fuel cut

Hi Vaughan, see attached, reduction is set at 2 seconds so i think you might be right. i had looked at the help file and there was no mention of fuel alongside the torque reduction. see below log. PC Datalog - 2023-07-30 9;02;09 pm.llgx Mitsubishi EVO 8 Base 200623 base boost dir spark 2.pclx

    Overrun fuel cut

Hi all, very new to this so apologies if below are stupid questions. i seem to be having an issue with the overrun fuel cut. i took a log and it seems as if it takes quite a long time for the injectors to actually stop. looking at the INJ PW, it doesnt 0 till a few seconds after the fuel cut is active. also, the TPS delta looks very messy, any likely culprits or is this common? is this normal or am i missing something? thanks.

    Evo 8 g4x setup

Massive thanks for the suggestions guys, in particular KO (would have taken me a very long time to sus this one out). It did in fact end up being a clogged MAP t-piece and filter, a lesson learnt there... I think the reduced response from the blocked MAP meant that it wasn't tracing or reaching the correct table values, hence going into max-clamp and running lean. I managed to go out and get some very leisurely part throttle runs to try and establish what needs work and how closely dialled in the fuel table is and managed to work out some effective changes. Evo 8 g4x setup

Hi all, I am very new to tuning but trying to get my head around it. I have just installed an evo 9 g4x into a evo 8 JDM. im having trouble getting it set up right with the fueling, so far, i have managed to get it idling somewhat alright but as soon as i blip the throttle on idle it seems to die, if i very slowly ease the throttle in it will rev but very rich. the car has an exhaust, a cone filter and id1050s. if anyone can take a look over the calibration and give any suggestions itd be greatly appreciated. thanks. 7. when mounting the iatb, how should it be orientated? im mounting it on an evo 8 top boost pipe just before the right angle to the TB, but should it be mounted so the blade is perpendicular or parallel to the air flow? id assume if it was parallel to the flow there would be a lesser chance of fouling the sensor with anything in the boost pipe.
