    Hi Mark.
    You can use the Aux injection function to do what you are after. It will give you a ms based table to control the flow of additional methanol.
    It will then have no effect on the main injection.

    So this is a new thing on the G4X you can tell it where to check the cam level / crank reference point.
    With the sync tooth set to 49 it will look at the level at the 49th tooth after the gap. 
    We need to correct the help file for this

    The 'Transmit Generic Dash' mode sends out a range of common parameters, it is useful for dashes that are able to have a custom configuration. The parameters that are sent are in the table below.
     
    Setting up the Link ECU:
    1.Open the CAN Setup window (PCLink > ECU Controls > CAN Setup)2.Select the CAN module to be used3.Set the Mode to 'User Defined'.4.Configure the Bit Rate to match what the dash requires.5.Select a spare CAN channel.6.Select 'Transmit Generic Dash' from the Mode drop-down menu.7.Set the CAN ID to match what the dash expects.8.Set the Transmit Rate to 20Hz or what the dash expects.9.Make sure no other CAN channels are configured on the same CAN ID as the Generic Dash channel.10.Click Apply and then OK.11.Make sure a Store (F4) is performed. 
    Setting up the Generic Dash:
    1.The dash will need to be configured to match the data layout in the tables below. 
    All parameters are sent as 16 bit unsigned numbers, with low byte first.  Some parameters must be multiplied or offset (constant value added) to get the correct calibrated value.  The limits flags are sent through as a bit field (described below).

    From memory the sleds had a plug that you can connect an external power supply to and this will then liven up the ECU and the rest of the sled. 
     
    At the ECU connector if you put 12V to pin 17 of the 34 pin connector and ground on to pin 15 or 16 the ECU should power up.

    Ignition angle is always relative to the crank position. Engines with VVT from factory have trigger systems designed such that the cam trigger moving within the factory VVT range can't cause issues with crank syncing.

    As per the instruction sheet the red wire needs to be connected to an ignition switched source that stays live during cranking.  Park lamps are probably an ACC circuit that gets disconnected during cranking. It needs to see the drop in voltage to detect starting and then alternator ripple to detect RPM.
    Also as per the instruction sheet the sensor wires need to be shielded.  I have no idea if your OEM wires are or not.  
    When driving/running the knocklink builds a 2D noise Vs RPM (alternator ripple) profile into its memory. There are filters and other logic used to focus the "listening" more to typical knock frequencies rather than just general background noise.  The engine must not be knocking when the device is learning the noise profile.  Any noise event that it sees significantly higher than this learned noise profile is assumed to be knock.   Since mechanical noise is mostly directly related to RPM the 2D profile will generally work well.  
    But, it is not foolproof, as with any knock system, any irregular noise that occurs randomly and unrelated to RPM may not be masked by the simple 2D map.  For example gravel hitting the exhaust system of a rally car, a jet boat hull pounding on the water, heavy piston slap or flat tappet noise that is variable from hot to cold etc.  
    Since it uses alternator ripple to determine RPM, the engine must have an alternator, the alternator needs to be driven by the crankshaft and the device needs to be connected to a power circuit that sees the alternator ripple and start up voltage drop.

    If you have a 3 spare AN volt inputs and 3 aux outputs it can be done via a remote E throttle module. 
    There is no way to upgrade the G4 beyond the last of the G4 firmware (4.10.2).

    The 5V supply is rated for 400mA at its specified accuracy.  So typically enough for 30-50 sensors.

    You should be able to control this engine by using the subaru EJ20 quad vvt for the trigger mode.
    And then set the cam control vvt mode to 2GRFE (this also has 3 teeth spaced as per your pictures)

    Yeah you have a i88 or G4+ based ecu so this has a configurable CAN bus and will allow you to display any ECU related stuff on the AEM dash. 
    Unfortunately that AEM adapter cable isnt going to be direct fit, but it will still probably be a decent starting point.  Your ECU doesnt have the 6 pin round CAN plug, your CAN is on the main ECU 34pin plug.  You will have to cut the round plug off the AEM cable and crimp Amp superseal 1.0 pins on the two CAN wires.
    The CAN L or CAN - wire goes into pin 33 and CAN H or CAN + wire into pin 34.

    once again they are not ECU fault codes, they don't exist in the ECU, they only exist in PCLink as a way of indicating why the ECU disconnected.

    The factory ballast wont work, it will limit the current too much and those injectors get lazy if you limit them too much.  You will need to make a heat-sinked bank of 6, 2.2ohm, 50W resistors.   Something similar to this one that we make: https://dealers.linkecu.com/BAL6, except ours are only 4.7ohm, 25W so not suitable for these injectors.

    It will need a bottom board revision to resolve this. The bottom board has been unchanged between G4, G4+ and G4x.
    It is ear marked to be revised in the future.

    Option 4 using the "Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)" was the Magic Wand for me. With the resolution set to 1440 x 960 I can finally see everything properly without the scaling issues using the default / recommended resolution.
