  1. Does it help if you open and hold the throttle a little? Post your map?
  2. There is an adapter available for this engine. Ask your Vipec dealer. It will make everything simpler.
  3. It could be too high or too low. There is no better way but to try it out.
  4. 6000 rpm is not that high. What kind of boost are you running? What are the plugs gapped to?
  5. Next release will be coming really soon.
  6. "Newer" K20A engines have 12+1 crank trigger and uses Hall sensors for crank and cam.
  7. Send me an email. gti at netvigator dot com
  8. I have done several of these with V44. Tacho should work fine. The only gauge that does not wrok will be the coolant temperature gauge.
  9. Only inlet cam is variable. Offset should be close to 156, but it is best to do the cam test as Simon described.
  10. MAP sensors are usually linear. Check the voltage at 100 kpa. Put that in the calibration table. Then try different values at 0.5v so that the reading looks correct. Check with a hand vacuum pump with gauge.
  11. Try to see if the spark plugs are still firing when the dropout happens.
