Hi anyone tried guageart With the vipec v88?
  2. Friend of me just bought a used vipec v88 for his vvti.Is it possible to get the patch harness somewhere?
  3. Ok thanks.I was reading thrue old threads about this and it was some misleading information:)
  4. My car (supra vvti) has been down for a while but soon ready for the street again.Im going to do the cam angle test to find the vvti offset value. In my base map digital1 is set as speed,I change that to vvt cam position, inlet lh and choose offset 170 as default during test? I already set a vvti inlet target map and it communicates with the cam. After test do I change trig 2 vvti to new value or keep default value?Im very happy if someone can guide me thrue this, thanks Rune
  5. Here you og and thank you very much. I use flex fuel but Im having some problems With it. I seems like its not stabile and suddenly the car runs Rich after changing fuel. Last time I went from e85 to gas again it was very Rich.I Wonder if its some of the corrections we messed up:) For the vvti cam it seems like I have Connection With it.I gained inlet cam at idle to prevent knock from vvti because of lack of oil and it worked:) esdyno_E85-9.pcl
  6. I looked thrue the help ile regarding cam angle test. All my digital inputs 1-4 is set as off. Will the wiering be there or the cam or do I have to move pins around? Thanks Rune
  7. lq9 installed and I run them in wasted spark. No blow out With oem gap on plugs.great idle:)
  8. Hi again Dave. Car has been great but vvti system is not tuned perfectly yet.Im going to the dyno NeXT week and hope to improve spool and top end Power. The vvti inlet cam has 170 atdc offset as you helped me With in April:) I have been reding about vvti to understand how it Works before final tuning and I found an article which mentioned 125 atdc offset. Is this correct info? Thanks Rune
  9. My vvti 2jz blows out spark with high boost.Tried everything to solve this but still a problem.Next step is to run lq9 gm coils(ordered today).I will not use wasted spark anymore with those. Can I just change the ecu from wasted to direct and thats it or do I need other changes. Thanks Rune
  10. I have full pressure in about 4300 and the cam was at 0 at that point.I read that its actually -15 when the setting is 0 so I hope thats the reason I was out of air
  11. Im going in the dyno again to test this.Last time with"oem" vvti settings I couldnt reach the hp I wanted.Torque was high but hp stopped at 500.Something odd was holding it back.Im going to adjust the hole table to where my turboes are kicking in and hope for better result:)
  12. In other ecus the inlet values are % so 100% will be 30 degrees advance.I dont know how its working in vipec, someone know?.I have also searched for info regarding vvti and from what I read the table should be advancing further up in register if bigger cam and more turbopressure is added.Someone knows?
  13. Im from Norway so here its soon bedtime:) The settings for atdc and trigger was from a basemap.I think I ran with those settings before the engine build.I will search for info about the ethanol sensor.I hooked it up with a reader and one wire from reader into the ecu.
  14. With the map you sendt it runs like a champ. The trigger adjustment did the trick.I also had some problems with e throttle which we solved. It runs great now so I guess I leave it like this and let the tuner do the rest. For the zeitronix ff sensor is it ok to just put it in DI 4? Does the 4d tables read from DI 4 automaticly or does it need other comands? Many thanks Rune
