  1. Upgraded to new firmware, but i watched the frequency of my DI as speed was building and at that certain point it just resets back to zero and starts counting again. Next time my gearbox is out I will remove some teeth, this should bring the frequency back and make it readable.
  2. Is your sensor at your gearbox/before the diff or at the wheels? As Simon mentioned, what version of the firmware are you running? I haven't had a chance to go out and upgrade it/test it yet.
  3. Not the latest firmware, but i updated it not to long ago, but will update to latest and try again. Please note the sensor is on the output shaft and not the wheel (hence the high number)? It has 44 teeth so by my maths that's not many revs per second to get to the 500hz max? Cheers.
  4. Hi Simon, speed sensor now operation, but when i bring up a basic gauge in VTS to show speed, its accurate until 95kmph and then the gauge starts from zero again and begins to work its way back up (like its gone once round).I am using the settings you described with a calibration number of 6150. I haven't had a chance to play with settings to much yet, but is this likely to be a the way the display gauge is setup, or due to the frequency being input being to high for the ecu? Tooth count is 44. Thanks.
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm looking to use the the abs sensor on my Toyota R154 gearbox as a speed input for my ecu. Part number 89544-14020 I have wired it up but i am not getting any signal from it, so either i have a stuffed sensor or i have done something wrong (likely to be the latter) Here is a link to the sensor details: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=BR&P=68, http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=BR&P=69 Here is the link to the ABS diagram of the supra http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=110 - please note wiring colour differences Currently i have +12v wired up to RR+ (white wire), RR- (black wire) to ground, Psen to My digital input. Stupidly I assumed the Positive and negative to be RR+ and RR- but on a 2nd look i am unconvinced. Any help Appreciated. Cheers, Luke.
  6. Well fixing the crank angle polarity seems to have fixed it, now runs nice and smooth. Bit annoyed at myself for not realizing sooner, especially since it was one of the first things mentioned, but all is well now. Thanks for the help Simon, has been much appreciated. Cheers.
  7. So you think the digital input signals are fine? it looks to me as if the pulses should line up with eachother and not be offset?
  8. Had the motor on a 4 channel scope today, Top channel is LH inlet cam Di 1 2nd is RH Cam Di 2 (problem sensor) 3rd is left cam angle sensor Bottom is crank. I have not seen any other captures of the vvt part of a 1uz before, but it looks to me as if my cam timing may be a tooth out? Simon what is your opinion on this?? Cheers, Luke.
  9. So here is some screen shots from the cam test, not sure if they are correct? Cheers, Luke.
  10. Pretty sure i have them all correct polarity but will double and then triple check, Here is a link to the pcl file. https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B5CedNCRyvpBNnI4ZElLbDR4MDQ Cheers.
  11. Originally its a basemap file from the link g4 software, so i think they should be alright. I will upload the pcl file tonight for you to take a look at and hopefully you can take a look before you close up for the year! Cheers, Luke.
  12. Hi guys, having some issues with my cam sensor triggers on my Toyota v8, 1uz vvti model. I have attached an image in the error counters etc from a 15 min or so drive. It appears that the errors tick up under deceleration and idle, but not when on load. I have also just noticed after reviewing the image that my Bat voltage is 11.8, could this cause the issues? Also left bank picked up one error, and trig 1, is this acceptable? Also Inlet RH status shows Error 3rd cam pulse. Amongst reading other threads i see similar issue on a bmw motor, and he mentions he switched the pullup resister in the digital input to on and that fixes his problems. Is this a wise idea to have a go at as the help file mentions to have it set to off for a reluctor pickup? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Luke
