Are you getting fuel flow and pressure?
Any idea the condition of your fuel filter.

Try running a power wire straight from the battery to the wideband power supply.

Perhaps get back into the real world and use some common sense.
Why should you need to anticipate basic tuning for cells ? Seriously, think about what you're saying.

And BS about the "lean firing that comes with fuel cut"

Ducie54 reacted to Simon in Map Limit didn't engage during Shift Cut
    Hi CJ
The Gear cut takes the higher priority over just about all other limits.
A hard cut on the fuel will be higher priority so if you set the map limit to have the hard cut on then when it then hit the hard limit it would then over ride the gear cut.
    Regards

Bit silly running high boost, untested cells on pump fuel with aggressive timing ? Ultimately that's what the real problem is here.

And a fuel cut will be a lot safer than an ignition cut. It just seems a lot choose ignition cut because it's more likely to make silly banging noises during a cut. But yes, improper ignition can and will destroy shit. Big time.

Ducie54 got a reaction from NickRP in Closed loop coolant temperature ctrl w/ map controlled thermostat
On my setup I use a 3d table to PWM an engine water pump. After a lot of testing I found using the temp output from the radiator and ECT the best way to control the pump. Takes into account out side temp and vechile speed. Would recommend you try that way to control the thermostat. Ive also connected a 2nd Digital output to the same soild state relay as an override. So if I'm at a set TPS or boost range the pump goes to 100%. After a bit of testing during different conditions I can keep the ECT within 2deg in all situations.

Features say, Analog (voltage) output proportional to gear level force. So you need to use a Analog input not a digital input.

Surely any link dealer should be capable of tuning a link using the current software. Another reason why tunes get locked IMO.

Also looks like base fuel pressure is only 2.5 bar. You have a fuel pressure sensor input but not using it in the modelled equation.
Injector dead time curve has steps in it.

Another look show it's reducing boost target in higher gears but gear detection is not set up correctly. Your vechile speed is showing when in 0 gear.

Im not convinced if it is actually caused by electrical noise or if it is actually the throttle blade moving due to vibration or poor adjustment or lumpy vacuum etc.  The "noise" seems to mostly disappear when you open the throttle.  Has the cable got plenty of free play and the throttle blade is sitting on a mechanical stop etc?
What is the throttle body on this thing?
Note you need to calibate your TPS as it is showing 40% at idle.

You need to check your knock ignton trim tables to see if the was any previous knock threshold over shoots during that ECU on period. Each time the ECU powers down or knock is turned off then on it will clear that table.

Hi guys, update on what the issue was.
Got my guy that wired the ECU for me to check everything. All was okay. So posted the ECU off to my local link dealer to test. The sent it straight back to HQ for further testing & repair. Turns out the 5v chip had de soildered it’s self fromthe board. All sorted within a week and sent back to me today hopefully!

Id just like to say a thanks to dave and Kieran from Link uk&Ireland as they were a massive help! And the service link provide is extremely efficient

Ducie54 reacted to mapper in Ethanol Content Clamp Function
The continental Ethanol Content Sensors will read significant lower when low flow goes through the sensor. This means during a WOT run the ethanol content will read significantly lower at high load and rpm than at idle, because the flow in the return line is low.
I attached a Log to show the problem. With more boost, I see values 20% lower at WOT than at idle.  This is a well-known problem and other ECU manufacturers have an Ethanol Clamp function for a good while.
The Ethanol content does with activated clamp function only update when the Injector Duty Cycle is below a certain level. Once the INJ Duty Cycle is higher than the threshold the ECU takes the last value read below the threshold and update Ethanol content only when InjDC goes below the threshold. So a quite simple function, but with a big need! Please implement it asap. Thank you.

Wondering if it is possible to have the mixture map data filtered by the window selected by the time plot range?
As in, if I have a section of log I want to zero in on, and be able to run only that section through the mixture map, similar to how the XY plots work?

Ducie54 got a reaction from JayGow in Idle control needs work.
    Happy to help.
Another suggestion is to use an auxiliary/fuel/ignition output to trigger a fix amount of air bleed using a solenoid. Then use a timer on this output. So when you shift though the gears the neutral step is not added as its no longer required or only now very small.
You could then use the 3d idle ignition for the power steering idle up.

Ducie54 got a reaction from Davidv in Idle control needs work.
You could try adding neutral status DI5 to the Y axis of the ignition idle table. Add some timing when in gear and drop the neutral step from 22% down to say 10% and see what that does.

I see just over 5 KPA pressure drop as an example.  I find the pressure slope of the turbosmart 1200 to be very good, that's what I use.

I would try a better quality fuel pressure regulator and rewire the fuel pump using a realy close to the pump with large gauge wiring.
