  2. Hi, Help info seems a bit confusing, maybe someone can clear up a bit the rpm target calculation with multiplier. As described right now i belive is a mistake in help file: Up-shift target multiplier is recomended less than 100% this would mean cut will end before engine reaches next gear rpm so there is no more cut to allow reintroduction ( if you calculate like in help file a 95% in example 4000 to 3000 drop will be 3050 so target is above engine rpm not as stated :"engine rpm will be slightly above target" this will requre a 105%... I belive the revomendations are inversed

  8. So is basically a high and low signal , and this can controll also the mivec with the 16-2 cranck trigger? . Mechanically the cam trigger has to to be aligned? Or we do this with the offset?
  9. With the evo 10 pattern can the mivec be controlled? As it is on the same cam? Which settings to use? Ps. Engine uses same sensor for sync and mivec. Waht would be the ideal.pater to replicate to be able to use the mivec. I can build any tooth shape. So the 3 symetric would not work ? Because is listed in the options?

  13. How many can modules has the Thunder ecu?. In connector C and D are 2, but there is also the can in the round connector. Ar 2 of those common? Which? Thank you
  14. Thank you for your answer. As soon as the car comes back to the shop i will log it. What do you need to be loged? There are absolutely no error reported. It doesnt read rpm when it happens but no errors. If running log or running values nothing shows up. After ca. 10 min it runs again perfectly. I belive it doesnt sync .it can be a bad cam sensor which with temperature doesnt produce enough voltage because if over say 1500 rmp it never hesitates or cuts or any other problem. Can it loose sync without reporting trigger errors or any other errors? Map or firmware hasnt touched since install in 2011 it runs perfectlly otherwise( at the time was a bit of work to set the trigger arming voltages and filters ). The fact that on cyclic newer happens is strange ( might be temp related but not ect )
  15. I have a 2004 sti with g4 extreme ecu. It was instaled in 2011, with no problems for 5 years. Since a few weeks engine stops when idling and warm, and wot start till cold again. Under normal condition and high rpm no problem, No trigger erorrs when it runs, after it stops no more rpm shown in run values or log . I suspect is not syncing off cam( avcs solenoid? Bad cam sensor?) .the unusual fact is that when car runs on cyclic idle it never happens. Question: does the ecu on cyclic run batch and not sequential (doesnt use same sync when idling)? Can a bad avcs solenoid influence sync? Any imput greatlly apreciated

  19. hello, Â i would like to know it a g4+ extreme would be able to drive the bosch coils : PN 06B 905 115Â R (they require a 5v signal to trigger, i belive is faling edge also )?
  20. yes it was a combination of 2 problems, firmware/pk link and also not conected ( over internet tune) thanks!!! - as sooon as firmaware was updatet pcLink could see tables, adn after ecu connestion correct pcl with active tables wassent. regarding virtual aux, i run out of digital inputs on some plug in , and thought i could use spare analog for same purpose-as switch, but i guess some resitor woud be needed- if so what value/type is recomended not to cause damage? as you can have multiple switches depending on voltage on same analog imput, right(with diffrent resitors/voltage divider)? sorry for so many questions in a row
  21. hello, when trying to activate second boost control tables on cloosed loop, second target boost table does not apear .is it firmware(4.8.5)/pc link (4.8.8.111.2)related? or there aren't enough tables in plug in? is it possible(and not damage anything on the board) to use spare analog input as di input, by config conditions through a virtual aux, and using internal pullup from spare 5v output? ps. and also on evo 9 the table for tacho output seem to be missing?! added pic for di setup from analog thanks
  22. hello, finally got a evo in the shop to instal a G4Xtreme, and i disovered that in order to Pwm control the fan you need that in resting position polarity needs to be high, any chance that in the PWM settings this can be added as an option just like with simple gp output? ps. off-needs high(12v) on -needs ground, if just open circuit as on pwm the fan ecu will get in failsafe and run fans at max speed
