  1. Thank you ill get the sensor wiring checked out and then sensor tested. Just one more thing on the settings wise. If I look at the Injector dynamics values. it states its at fuel temp 52 degress C, would setting the base fuel pressure and the other fuel compensations tables at different temps cause these issues? Basic Specifications Nominal Flow Rate – 1065cc/min @ 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) Using Gasoline at 52 Degrees C (125 Degrees F) Maximum Differential Fuel Pressure – 10.0 Bar (145.0 psi) Fuel Compatibility – Compatible With All Known Fuels Electrical Connector – USCAR ID1050x Dynamic Flow Data Fuel Pressure Offset Slope (psid) (µsec) (cc/min) 8 Volts 10 Volts 12 Volts 14 Volts 16 Volts 40.0 1920 1410 1115 920 790 1020 43.5 1955 1425 1125 925 795 1065 45.0 1970 1435 1130 930 800 1085 50.0 2025 1475 1160 955 825 1145 55.0 2080 1515 1190 980 845 1205 60.0 2140 1540 1215 1000 860 1260 65.0 2195 1560 1225 1010 855 1305 70.0 2255 1575 1235 1015 850 1350 75.0 2340 1610 1250 1020 850 1390 80.0 2440 1655 1265 1020 850 1420 85.0 2555 1705 1280 1030 855 1455 90.0 2680 1765 1315 1045 865 1490 95.0 2815 1825 1355 1075 880 1530 100.0 2960 1890 1405 1110 900 1565
  2. I'm pretty sure it is a 150psi fuel press sensor. It looks like the bap and map are also the same. Are they any inputs or values if wrong could cause this? I will then recheck that they correct. I have the Flex fuel sensor after the regulator could that cause any issues?
  3. Hi Adam, Both were decent. First one was a aeromotive 1000hp compact efi. The new one looks like a A1000 from aeromotive. If you have a moment could you have a look at my map and see if there is something in the settings that blatantly wrong.
  4. Hi Guys, Any ideas what my issue could be. Every time I start the car or idle , could be at a robot or stop sign. the fuel pressure is different. I set the differential to 50 psi. So it randomly changes even though the vacuum is pretty constant. Example. I start the car fuel differential is 52.5 psi and vacuum is -8. When I get home again and look its 50.5 and -8 vacuum. I have changed fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator and its still doing the same thing. Any ideas what i can check next?
  5. I have just noticed under the R menu (Runtime Values) that my prime fuel ms is 18ms cold start and was highlighted in red. After a few stops and starts it seems to go down to 5ms but from what I read 14v @ 3bar pressure it should be under a 1ms. What are the possible causes?
  6. Hi Simon, It doesnt seem to change the AFR to the target value .Ie I want a block to go from afr 11.8 to 11 to see if there is more power or not. I saw a video on the g4 + ecu and it a changed in the fuel table. Is there something I can view to show that it is in fact appling the compensation?
  7. I have the open loop AFR Table set to on in the fuel main. Fuel table RPM/MGP . Now if it try change the values in the AFR Target Table nothing happens to the fuel table. What am I missing?
  8. Thanx for your reply Scott. I spent Sunday afternoon redoing the fuel table, with the map set to v7-8.
  9. The car was tuned at this altitude. I have been turning some of the features on like IAT, fuel over run & closed loop as none of them where setup originally. My fuel usage has always been very high, so I have recently started learning about tuning as a result been discovering these issues as I go along. As its almost winter now ill be editing those AIT as I go along. It doesn't get that cold here -10 is prolly worst case scenario. The settings are from a subaru v1-6 base map tho. I wait for the ECT's to get to 80 before I do anything so the enrichment and corrections don't mess with anything. But like I said its literately idling in a different fuel blocks with the v7-8 map setup.
  10. Hi Dave, I have tried this. The Bap reads 83.8 and the v7 subaru reads 84 as per first post, the problem is then it doesn't idle properly it jumps the afr's to the 10's and if I put it back to v1-6 it idles and drives fine. Im not at the coast im 1500-2100m above sea level. After paying around a bit more I noticed its idling in different blocks on the fuel table as well as it seems more stable and use alot less fuel. ie to get it to idle -60 to -50 blocks at 1000 rpm use 30.5 where as it now uses 24 in block -50 to -40 with the v7-8 map calibrated. I guess that means ill have to retune everything. Any idea why the v1-6 doesnt work tho?
  11. Please see attached.
  12. After doing some logging today. I noticed that my TPS was only 81.1 at wot. I then also noticed the ecu was reading in the 50's on the map (mgp). I recently updated to latest firmware. So I thought it was that had messed some settings up. Anyways I calibrated the TPS and it went well. I then tried the map sensor. It gives me an error <5 kpa 5> from bap. If I change the map sensor to subaru v7-8 the bap value is correct. If I then choose v1-6 again then it doesnt give the correct reading, any ideas? The motor idles correctly even tho its not calibrated tho. I have a v6 Subaru. v1-6 65kpa v7-8 84kpa v9 101kpa bap 83.8 v44 plugin ecu running 4.4.9
  13. Well that did the trick, thank you.
  14. Hi Dave, Why do you prefer Fuel cut? I'm thinking to stop backfire and petrol exploding in the exhaust or turbo?
  15. I have not tried to save and store to ECU I will try that. Im running latest firmware and software the same issue was there on older software and firmware.
