  1. Hi! Does anybody have a base cam target tabel for the 2jz vvti? Can be both stock and tuned. Hope for response. I have found one table online, (picture attached) can this be used?
  2. My engine is still not working right! Will upload a log file if someone is interested! When i get over 60 %throttle and 3500 rpm the engine stalls and cuts. I had some issues with the trigger offset set to -170 when the 1jz help file stated 200. Switced the polarity of the cam sensor, and then the engine started, it idles fine, and all seems fine until it cuts at rpm/load. Now all of a sudden trigger errors started to appear when the engine cut, the cam angles retard 10 degrees approx on cam angle test, and trigger 1 errors skyrocket. (i have both values on log) Then all is back to normal and same happens next time i i go full throttle. When i give 50% throttle, it just hesitates a bit at the same rpm`s as it cut on full throttle, and then it revs fine till the rpm limit. If i floor it at any time though it instantly cuts and dies flat out. Sometimes it dies so hard that i have to neutral it so it does not stop. then it need fine adjustments by throttle to rev again, and then its all fine again! Does somebody please have any suggestions? I am sure it has to have something with the triggering to do but what? I am so frustrated with this build right now
  3. Hi! My 2jz vvti is having some strange values in both cam angle test and trigger offset. The values for 1jz vvti states 200 degrees trigger offset, i have -170. When it is at 200 the cams are 180 degrees off. On -170 the engine runs fine, even though the timing light shows some trigger wandering when rpm increases. On the cam angle test the values are strange too. the 1 tooth shifts between 700+- to 10+- at idle, 2 tooth 280+- and 3rd tooth 450+- When cam angle offset is 170 atdc as stated in the 1jz help file i get sync errors on the runtime value.... I set it to 280 and the error goes away. Then everything seems fine, engine runs fine.... But how can it be that crank trigger value is 360 degrees off and cam offset 110 degrees off?? Am i missing something or should everything be fine with this setup?
  4. Hi Simon! I did this but engine did not sync correctly when set up as said in the help file. Helpfile says trigger offset 200 (must check) But when i checked with timing light (everything set up as the 1jz vvti file says) the crank spot was dead on at 190 degrees, exept that the cams was 180 degrees wrong! I set it to -170 (190-360=-170) The cams and crank was in sync. This is of course way off the 1jz help file, the enigne started and was all ok but misfired on 4000rpm +load on my tuners dynapack. Could this timing issue have something to do whit it? My tuner also said that the cam angle test was off.
  5. Yes they have 12v and fuel pressure is present. Engine started when i set the trigger offset to -170. Went to tune the engine today, and everything went fine until we started with 4000rpm.... At 160 hp the engine cut, and misfired. My tuner had some suggestions: Timing issues? The light says its correct, 0 degrees and slotted marks on the camgears. (and everything worked up until this point) So i dont think this is the issue.. But the fact that i had to set the trigger ofset to -170 might indicate some kind of issues!? Maybe trigger filters or arming? Everything is set to 1jz specs stated in help file. Also tried reversing polarity of cam sensor with big misfires. Plugs are fine, sparks are fine, lq9 coils dwell time is correct. Also another thing: When the engine idled, we turned up the fuel pressure, and the arf got leener!? (we have pressure gauge) This have to be indicating some injector-issues? And suddenly now the engine wont start at all..... No ecu errors, and logging says trigger signal has no issues.
  6. Tried your map today and engine whouldnt start! Only changes i made was some inputs, no e-throttle of course, and changed the ignition mode to direct fire. (i have 6 gmlq9 coils on plugs) Spark is present, both on the test and while cranking, trigger signals ok, timing perfect. Only thing i can think of is some sort of issue with fuel, injectors work fine with injectortest, and i have 2.6 bar base pressure (stock) I use 1600 cc bosch 280150839`s with 4,7 ohm 50W resistors, and e85. Are there any settings i should adjust? been playing with the master between 5 and 20ms, anything else? Engine has compression too....
  7. Of course, stock engine! I got a reply from link on FB, set up the triggers like they advised me to. 1jz vvti trigger setup, following the engine spesific guidelines in pclink help. Worked like a charm, timed the ignition spot on 0 degrees, sequential injection, direct fire (i have 6 Cop). BUT, of course the engine dont start...... My setup is single turbo, stock engine and intake manifoild, bosch 1600cc injectors (with the recocomended resistors), e85, 6 lq9 coils on plugs. Injector and ignition tests works, the timing is as i said correct, why does it not start? Any ideas? I thought it might get to much fuel, set the master to 5ms, and 2 bar fuel pressure, no difference. It cranks with ease, some slight ignitions, but never anything near starting, then bangs when i stop cranking.....
  8. Thank you! Havnt seen the map yet, will try it later! If the injection mode is set to anything other than sequential how are they wired? In what groups etc. Thanks
  9. To refrase my question: How do i set up the triggers on a 2jz gte vvti? The 1jz and 2jz vvti has 36-2 crank wheel and 3 separate teeth on the cam. I heard some guys grinding down 2 of the 3 teeth on the cam to be able to sync the engine on 720 to run fully sequential. Is this what i need to do for the link g4 Xtreme to? How will this react when the vvti is triggered, and that tooth of course will move in relation to the crank wheel? Another guy made his own cam trigger welding a tooth on the vvti cam gear, but there have to be a better solution!? Or are you vvti guys running without 720 degree sync signal fom the cam, with wasted spark/batch (semi-sequential) injection? 2 groups of injectors if that is the case? Or 3? And in what sequence? And how is this set up in Pclink? A lot of questions, but i hope for some response

  12. How do you run the fuel on this setup?
  13. Hi again! This is a real headcruncher for me. Found the 1jz vvti trigger setup on pclink, will this work for the 2jz? I think both have the 36-2 crank wheel, and 3 teeth cam sensor. Also what fuel injection should i use? Sequential or semi sequential?
  14. Yes i have seen it but to me it looks like only two groups can be operated!? I need 3 groups of two injectors, how is this set up?
  15. How do i set up the link g4 xtreme to semi-sequential injection (paired firing)? for a straight 6?
  16. Does anyone have a base map for the 2jz with the g4 xtreme?
  17. Does anyone have a basemap for the 2jz gte vvti, using the g4 xtreme?? Best regards Espen
