  1. I would connect the solenoid to the ecu as well, you have much more advanced control like that

    Rotary switch

Another 06 Another question, doesn't the value interpolate between positions if the input value differs a bit for some reason, compared to the calibrated value?

    Rotary switch

Never thought of doing this through a cal table, good point. Could be easier though if we could just select rotory switch as an an function followed by: numbers of positions, threshold and then a simple table to define each position

    Nos control

There's nothing wrong with it, just you loose a table you could need for something else.

    Rotary switch

Interested in full Rotary switch support as well, so we could alter for example traction control slip %, als setting ect without the need off VA

    Egt Antilag

I think there should me more protection strategies integrated in the antilag function such as max egt to automatic switch off antilag when egt's get high. Also a minimum ect to enable could be Interesting. Max iat function as well Also, on DBW, you can't have 2 different throttle openings on different antilag modes, or am I wrong, should be handy as well

    Nos control

Really think we should ad in a proper nos controlling feature, so we don't need to twitch with tables to set everything up
  8. Don't understand this, my manual says something different, that's why i'm a bit confused
  9. just had same issue ^^ Also not seem to have Idle Derivative Gain Table
  10. Or Nvidia i got both listed in manage devices
  11. Hello Ahmed Above the headers seems no good place to me, because there's a good chance that temperatures wil get to high, and wiring or knock sensor itself is gonna melt, imho. My experience is, that the best placement of the sensor is on the intake side, as close as possible to the center of the block.
  12. Normally, there's only 1 sensor/CAM, so that means 1 inlet and 1 exhaust cam sensor Attached a wiring diagram. I got some wiring diagrams for the solenoids as well, but not on this pc So if you need them just give me a shout
  13. Hello Graham The innovate LC 2 works fine in conjunction with a link ecu, but you need an XS loom to connect it to the ecu, out of my head. Just want to say, maybe it's not a bad thought to consider the link ecu can lambda, as this ones is communicating via CAN with the ecu, which means it responds much quicker, and if the sensor fails, it will be told to the ecu and the closed loop will be disabled .
  14. I'm having the same problem lately as JMP, I thought it is an Intel graphic card as well

    Slow reacting

I have to say, lately i'm having some issues to. but only when i just connect to the ecu. SO i put in the usb cable, press F3 and then i have to wait lets say 2 minutes, before everything stabilizes en stops freezing, after this, everything works flawlessly
  16. Do you have a link of your earbuds?
  17. I mostly use the three channel items (on bmw S54 engines). But for a 4cil. Those will work fine
  18. I always use the bosch ignitors, or the link ecu items, wich are infact the same units ... only good results with it
  19. In terms off knock controll, with wasted spark you don’t have knock by cil. but the pnp mx5 ecu has no knock sensors connected out of the box. In terms of power, if you’re not having misfire problems ect, imho you will not have benifits. So i would go for option 1. If you heve problems later, you can still change it ...
  20. Aah that’s what i tought would be the problem, i’ve thought on buying the earpods without the mic but i wasn’t shure. Thank you for the confirmation! Altough the headphone works nice but sometimes cars are to loud and you have to be realy focused to hear it.
  21. Has someone been able to use apple earpods with the knockblock g4+? if i use my iphone earpods i get no sound, but with my amplified peltor it works

    Slow cranking

I would suggest to first get the fuel and ignition map dailed in. After that you can look at the cold start, warm start, cranking enrichement and idle table's, because they al are based on the main fuel map
  23. There are no ignitors inside the coils, i attached a wiring diagram of the coils. Almost no bmw, unless some of the turbocharged cars after 2008, have build in ignitors The thermostat has indeed a connector on it, wich is used to change the working temp of the engine. When no power supplied to it it opens at 103 degrees, with 12v supplied it opens at 80 degrees. So they send a pwm signal to it wich alters the opening temperature
  24. I would go for an extreme ecu then. To use the original coils you’ll need to use ignition drivers, so you need 3 x 3 channel or 2 x 4 channel ignition drivers. For your egt you need an external device anyway, because only the thunder has onboard thermocouple inputs, but this one has dual lambda onboard aswell, so maybe in your case, a thunder could end up being cheeper the an extreme + 2 can widebands + egt controller. Fan control is no problem anyhow Map as load is also no probleem, you just need to buy a map sensor, i think a 3 bar item will suit perfect for you. Traction and launch control is no problem for the extreme, and higher ecu’s.
  25. You need at least a extreme ecu, or something higher, dependant of what extra in/outputs you want to connect. As for the lambda i would go voor 2 link can lamda units, they work exceptionaly well, respond fast and have some failsafe features build in. On the EGT size, you can use a thermocouple to analog unit, but if you want 8 egt’s this will chew up some analogue inputs. Or you can go for a thermocouple to can unit, wich i would prefer...
