  1. No problem on our 99 gsxr 750 , that has the later hall effect sensor like yours
  2. I expect it will be a power or chassis ground because of the 12v input not a 5 v input
  3. If your using a dyno or have much vibration when tuning then get something a solid state hard drive or retro fit one
  4. Where are you logging intake temps ? Similar setup but with 4 cyl I have a single channel egt as low as i can get in the port floor of my now non intercooled methanol bike and with temps like 17c at 25psi i dont see the need to have more than a slightly rich mixture to control intake temp
  5. Thanks Adam The Toyota coils look good for clearance in the 1UZ version and may have to look at aftermarket versions for the power needs R35 GTR read well in doing a bit of a search i think the 051 connector position would be a problem Audi coils any good ? again the size may beat me Think i will trawl the wreckers for samples and see what is best fit Also some good reading from platinum racing comparing the R35 and 1UZ coils and SQ engineering on the various toyota versions R35 look to have big dwell time anywhere you see them listed or discussed
  6. Hey all, figured there is a wide range of experiance on this forum Looking for smart pencil coils that are compact and powerful this is for motorcycle application , so space is limited on the top section and running E85 at 3 bar or higher and potential at Methanol I have LS2 truck coils on a couple of my LSR bikes and they work great on all fuels i have used or but there just too bulky for some of the bikes thanks in advance Oh had the old melting coils with power on motor not running the other day , trying a Haltech ignitor something i dont usually run but seemed simple setup at the time to get a new setup timed (the CDI i would have run was not triggering the timing light at cranking ) I am set to falling edge trigger , could the haltech be rising edge ?
  7. Ok next time i get a chance to do some work on it i will log the error count ,
  8. Thanks, i can induce or get rid of the oscillation, but the spike seems to be a constant , at the level pictured in your first example
  9. Adam is the first spike in Teds log normal with quick throttle openings ? I am setting up ETH for first time on a motorcycle and cant dial it out when the throttle is used aggressively (its actually a V88 on that bike if that makes a difference )
  10. Not too different to mine , 31 deg at 14 psi and down to 26 by 28 psi, i think there is a lot more in it but as the bike is only landspeed racing on salt  and i am more traction limited than hp,  reliability for WOT for a 90-120 seconds is more important than peak power  , and i know what you mean by time  to check, i do want to spend a lot more time esp as e85 and flex fuel look to be my next stepÂ
  11. Hi Andrey We also haver used a link G4 extreme  on a GSXR 750  now a Vipec v44 set to BAP/MAP/X over , as we see a lot of altitude change between venues and wanted better barometric correction main tables are rpm/tps , with a 4d  removing fuel MAP based when the turbo system begins to loose effiancy above 24 psi ign is  RPM/MGP , currently fairly conservative , but intending to do more work on it Â
  12. Thanks Dave Suppose my personal conversion to Vipec will be complete when i start using your forum   time to create an account If i have an issues i will keep this thread running as its relevant to the Storm  and staged injection anywayÂ
  13. Hi I have been running sequential staged on a 750cc turbo motorcycle with a g4 extreme that ecu is now gone but still have the PCL and about to be replaced by a v44 , besides the wiring changes needed  , and the software conversion is there anything with the change from seq to grp staged that will effect the tuneup enough i cant sort with logging  ThanksÂ
