  1. Hello. We have a customers car running a 1UZ toyota V8 with the auto box and using a G3Linkplus to shift the box. It has kind of manualised the box still needing the shifter to be moved for each gearchange but works very well. Any more questions send to [email protected] Cheers Kelvin
  2. I have used 8 x HEC716 bosch on a 1uz with twin subaru ignitors. I might even have photos somewhere. Worked really well and fitted better than expected.
  3. Try upgrading to the latest firmware. Basemaps go to Open file (LH top) then scroll down to base maps and sort through. If you have mo luck send a email to [email protected] with vehicle details , injector size etc and I will select the closest one I have or link basemap. Cheers
  4. Try turning gear selection off. Cycle power to the ecu and try again. I have had similar issues and this worked for me. Cheers
  5. This is normal. The power travels from the supply and through the injector windings. The ECU supplies the earth when opening the injector. Another thing is most (if not all ) cars with these motors have 12 volts present even when the ignition is switched off. Cheers
  6. Hello Guys. Just letting you know that the last linkplus G3 we worked with was being used to shift the auto trans. Instead of a separate manual type shift controler the shifter was on the inputs and the link then controled the trans solenolds. Shift is a bit harsh yet but we may use the flat shift feature to smooth it out. Next you can put full auto control in there and solve the problem of customers who want full auto control. Cheers Kelvin

  8. I have a customer that wants to do the same thing. Cheers
  9. We are using aftermarket gauges but it will depend on the year of the machine and where the gauges get their signal from presently. Cheers
  10. Hello Simon I have done a manual conversion on plenty of 1uz and have most of the parts in stock. phone me on 021422962. Cheers
  11. Are you running a manual transmission? I do lots of 1uz-fe engines in NZ - cheers
  12. Hello Peter - we have had the same problem with an older vehicle which runs an separate trans ECU and it is giving us a small feedback. This vehicle was undrivable when cold and dyno runs showed varied mixture between runs without any changes. We found the TPS would fluctuate up to 1.7% and the ECU was sometimes giving acceration enrichment. To overcome this I altered the TPS lockout in the idle menu, the TPS deadband in the acceleration menu, TPS threshold in the overrun fuel cut menu. With a bit of fine tuning I was able to overcome the problem and the car now runs sweet. Another little trick I did was reset the TPS with the variance held on, Eg I held the throttle on 1.7% when it asked for the TPS closed while calibrating the TPS. Not the best thing to do but if it works and doesn't cause other issues then its a good thing. Good luck and I hope this has been helpful. Cheers
  13. Hello Joseph I own a tuning shop in NZ and we have a LEM G3 running a Honda CBR1000 motor which we have of coarse injected. The motor also has a TD04 turbo and is setup in a small jetboat cross jetski. The link runs it really well. We kept the lower crank sensor (8-1) and have fitted a cam sensor to allow coil per plug ignition. I think the triggering is the biggest thing. Our motor is governed to 10000rpm at the moment. We may opt to increase the number on the crank sensor to allow better resolution but time will tell. Being user confirable made it easy to sort the setting up of the ECU and we have simply turned more features on as the job has progressed. Highly recommended . Cheers
  14. Hello Hadyn We have a 2wd cosworth sapphire in our fleet with a link G3. The car rans better than with the standard ecu and produces excellant power. It received a full rewire but we made it look standard under the bonnet and mounted the ecu in the factory position. It has allowed us to fit a boost knob to utilise the boost control of the link so boost can range from a driver selected 8 pound through to 16 pound. We started with 300cc low impedance injectors and have now upgraded to 480ish bosch motorsport high impedance injectors. I would highly recommend the G3 LEM for the job. If you require base maps I may also be able to help. Regards Kelvin
  15. Hello Matt and Simon I have a couple of good base maps for a 4agze - both running different ignition systems but should be a really good start. If Matt lists his e-mail I will send it over - cheers Kelvin.
