  1. Hi, Apologies if this question has been asked many times before. Did a search and so many results turned up but never the exact answer to my questions Reading through my LEM V5 manual it states I must use an IAT sensor recommended from link as others can be incompatible. Is the recommended sensor a Bosch 0 280 130 085 as stated on one of the many Link web pages? Is the factory IAT sensor for a S4 13B turbo been tested and able to be used? Â (mainly cause its there, fitted in a good location, easy to get a replacement and requires no modifications/welding like the Bosch would). Thanks.
  2. Hi, Does anyone have a base map for pclink version 2.5, to suit a series 4/5 13b turbo engine? Cheers
  3. Thanks for your reply. I did read 70deg in the manual but when monitoring for a cut off point using a wideband and temp gauge, it looked as though thinks changed close to 80deg C. Mind you the engine was only idling and may have needed a blip on the throttle. Cheers
  4. Hi, last question for today... I want to check my static timing on a LEM V5e (S4 RE D42 V5e). 13B turbo setup The Config & Tuning manual says: quote [select 'Set Static' from the 'IGNITION' heading.] The problem is that I don't have a 'Set Static' option under the IGNITION heading or any heading for that matter. What is the correct method to check static timing? How can I stop the LEM from adding timing while cranking? I hope there is a better way than modifying the ignition maps to 0deg.... I'm using a laptop and PCLink ver 2.5 that came with my LEM from new. Can I also confirm that my Wiring and Install manual recommends 5deg. ATDC static in the appendix. Is ATDC correct or should that be BTDC? Cheers Steve.
  5. Hi, Would anyone like to share a rotary 13B turbo tune for a LEM V5? I all ready have the base map from link......(which is very linear, generic and RICH!) Its more for a visual look at the maps/graphs rather than trying to use it on my engine. Cheers Steve.
  6. Hi, Can someone tell me the exact change temperature that a Lem V5 changes from  warm up compensation to base map only and can this temperature be changed? Is there any other settings or sensors (air temp?) that contribute to warm up compensation? Cheers Steve.
