  1. Thanks for pointing that out. I do not need to wire anything correct? I just need to set the stepper reset key-on under idle speed control. Lastly in wiring the stepper motor. Is this correct? Thank you. Aux 5 - pin 4 (ISC A1) Aux 6 - pin 17 (ISC A2) Aux 7 - pin 5 (ISC B1) Aux 8 - pin 18 (ISC B2)
  2. Nevermind got it running. Turned off ecu hold power
  3. Installed a Link G4+ extreme wire-in ecu on my evo 6 wired in parallel with the oem ecu. I'm using the base map provided by Link for evo 6. Double checked wiring and everything is connected correctly. No error codes, run time values trigger1 and 2 indicates yes when cranking and shows 150-200rpm's. When doing ignition test there is spark. But when I crank it there is no spark. I may have missed something and hope you guys can give me some inputs. I'm attaching a copy of my calibration file, Trigger scope. cranking.mp4 ignition test.mp4 johan evo 6 parallel wire iat off nb off.pclr
  4. Are there different versions of the serial link? A friend of mine checked my serial link and compared mine to another serial link which we downloaded from the net. He said they are not the same. Something about the positive and negative crossing causing the short circuit. Anyway to cut it short he already solved the problem for me. A trip to the local electronics store and bought a new IC, capacitors and diode then he built me a new serial link. Got it running last night with a usb to serial adapter and laptop(vista). I'm just a little sad because I bought that for $187(US).
  5. I just bought a brand new serial link for my link g1 v4. I attached the serial link to the ecu and laptop then when I switched the ignition to power up the ecu so i can start downloading the current settings it shorted and burned the serial link. Did I do something wrong? or something wrong with the ECU? or is the serialink defective? I'm a bit frustrated because I think theres nothing wrong with the ecu because the car is running fine now. I need to tune it again after i install a turbo kit. Any ideas? Thanks
