  1. Thanks Ashley, The Link I'm running is the Flying Miata ECU. It has the latest chip, and the ECU is for the 94-95 1.8 liter. I don't know what is involved in switching it to the LEM G3, but at this time, I do not have any money in the budget to discard it and buy anything else. Unless I win the lottery in the next month or so, it's not going to change. But thanks for the info you have provided on the COP's and AEM unit. My project is a slow one, and I hope to have it built sometime within the next several months. Ken M
  2. Ashley, This is the AEM unit http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=78 There are two actually, a 4 and 8 channel dual capacitor. I'm trying to find out more info on it from the manufacturer. I do know that it is being used with the Miata stock harness and other programmable ECU's in a wasted spark configuration. What do you think? I'm hoping that the Link will fire it in the wasted spark setup too. I just don't have the schematic of the AEM yet. I'm familiar with your new LEM G3. I am trying to do this with out having to replace the ECU since it's not very old. Thanks Ken M
  3. I have been researching modifying my ignition set up and going to a COP (coil on plug) design. I plan on using the AEM Twin fire to run a non-ignitor COP coil. I am wanting to know if Link has the capability of triggering the AEM unit and have you seen this set up used before? Thanks KMag
