I've been trying to get this engine running with a g4+ extreme. setting up the ethrottle has me stumped. I have the aps calibrated and reading fine on the target map but when trying to get the tps calibrated i get the message "error tps main no movement" moving the throttle plate manually the voltages change for both TPS Main And TPS sub. it seems like the APS isint getting the message to the e throttle motor. any steer would be appreciated. thanks, Mike

a kind person sent me a base map from G4+ saved as a pclr file and I need to open it and use it on a G4 ecu. the G4 extreme software doesnt allow it to open. is there a process that will allow this?

Hi Ashley, It is a black top igniter (single channel one, I have deduced, from MWignition. It concerns me that it has expired too. I put a bosh igniter on and the motor now runs. It was wired correctly as in the pin-out diagram. Could it have been spiked by welding? If so, would'nt it have also spiked the computer? Will the bosh igniter do the job?

does the link igniter have more than one channel on it? my igniter failed after about 8 hours running and i wondered if there was another channel i could use. at the moment i'm using pins 1, 2 and 4. there was no spark at the coil
