  1. Working on a G4 Xtreme into a Porsche Boxster. With both +12v inputs disconnected (on connector A and , the ECU still has power. Power seems to be backfeeding through solenoids into aux 3 + 4-- thus keeping it powered. Has this been seen so far? Thanks, Chris
  2. A friend of mine has a BMW M42 engine running on a LinkPlus G2. The car runs and drives very well until the IATs hit 60 degrees, when the engine decides to simply turn off. There are no IAT dependent settings enabled in the cal file that we can see. Is this a known issue with the G2 boxes? I'm fairly certain it has a recent firmware flash on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Chris
  3. Hi all. I'm on the fence about to order a LinkPlus G3 but had a quick question as to how to setup the ignition aspect of things. I have a US-Spec S50 BMW Engine. It is an inline 6 cylinder with 3-Wire Bosch coil-on-plugs. The factory computer has the ignitors built in. My question is what are my options for external ignitors? I was wondering if anyone has used VB921's ? These are pretty popular to the megasquirt crowd. Also someone mentioned I'd need an inverter? If I ditched the coil-on-plug setup, are there any off the shelf coils with built in ignitors I could use? Thanks, Chris
