  1. I am still having the same trouble on my G3 LinkPlus. It appears I do not have dual ecu or anti-theft, and I am not using hold power and do not have an input setup for it. Any other ideas on what would stop triggers from working? Thanks!
  2. Greetings again, I am still in the same boat as before. Sometime it cranks right up, others it never picks up triggers in PCLink. I emailed Dave a couple times as he offered to look at my map to see anything goofy but it appears he has been busy and has not had time. I am still at a loss and it is keeping my project from progressing. -Jason
  3. I am having another issue now. The triggering settings above worked fine. What was not mentioned before was the trigger edge. For trigger 2 (LH cam) edge is falling. For my DI2 (RH cam) the trigger edge is rising. The engine started right up after making all of these changes. However, coming back to the car with no changes in wiring or configuration made, it is again not picking up the Trig1 and Trig2 signals. PCLink never shows the green 'ok' on trigger signals again when cranking. I have only been able to get it to pick up crank again when doing weird things such as changing various settings in PCLink, then reverting back to correct ones. Unfortunately I have been unable to document the exact steps taken to reproduce this. The strange thing is that when this trigger issue happens, the cam triggers are not picking up anything either. My two theories are a bad CAS, or the ECU somehow 'forgetting' the triggering yet still showing correct values in PCLink. I have the crank and cam signals wired to spec per the manual and shielded properly. My loom is not excessive in lenght, and is measured as roughly 5 feet (1.5 meters) from ecu header to engine harness plug. Here are my ECU details from PCLink: MainCode Firmware Version 1.9.2 BootCode Firmware Version 1.2 BAP Calibration: 13 MAP Calibration: 1 Support Board Revision: 0 Main Board Revision: 1.2 ECU Type: LinkPlus G3 LinkID: 5002 ECUMinSpec: 3.40 What are your thoughts?
  4. Fired right up. Thank you so much!
  5. Greetings, I am in the same situation. I have completed all the wiring and am now attempting to start without any luck. What trigger settings work best on the EZ30R? I am running a G3 LinkPlus. -Jason
  6. I know there's probably not much demand for it, but I would give my left testicle for a linux binary of PCLink. USB support for WINE (Windows emulation in linux) isn't that great right now.
  7. I too would like to see a version for linux. I have used PCLink 3.33 in wine(Windows Emulation Software for linux) successfully, but was unable at actually connecting to the ECU. wine allows the connection of external ports, but it seems to me like the software is expecting the usb driver or something. so maybe all that is needed is a usb driver for the software to be used in wine under linux?
  8. Woohoo! Great work on the new firmware update with all the added functionality and bug fixes guys!
  9. Hi David. Not completely done wiring but almost there. Main concern is getting a cable throttle body. I was planning on reverse engineering the electric one, but when i started probing and researching it would need a microcontroller that sends it a PWM signal while constantly sending angle position status, plus taking the drivers input in on top of that. So I ditched that idea. I think I heard of using a commodore throttle body on the white wagon build? We dont have those here in the U.S. for me to rip one off of. Since you're in the NZ you could send one my way... ]: ) I think I may just end up using a 70mm one for a honda and making an adapter pipe with a flange on each end. The honda Throttle bodies seem to have the same cable type. I'd be really interested in some cams, I'd like to see some numbers on those once you have them!
  10. So, about that new firmware release with EZ30R triggering support... Sorry, I'm anxious! ]: )
  11. Hello again. I am currently in the middle of wiring up the ECU and was wondering when you expect to release the next firmware update on your website?
  12. I sent an order in on this site for a G3 and no - one has gotten back to me yet?
  13. You guys are awesome, I will be ordering shortly then.
  14. That is good news! I do not have a G3 LinkPlus yet. I am waiting for the go signal to order one. Is there any tips I should know when i start wiring it in?
  15. What's the latest? I hear you have a white wagon with this engine you're testing on.
