  1. I'm using a duty cycle of 25hz. Essentailly, I have the solenoid connected like this pic: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2006-9/1210778/emamage_ultimate.jpg The pressure supply is fed into the center port, and the exit to the gates are fed from the "side" port (not the one covered in foam). It's being fed from Aux 2. I tested it by attaching a vacuum line to the entrance port of the solenoid, then went into test PWM. As I lowered the duty cycle the solenoid clicked slower and more air passed through as I manually blew through the vacuum line. That would keep the gates closed longer. As the duty cycle went up to 82, where it is now, less air blew through, and the gates open sooner. Thanks! Eric
  2. Hi guys, Just a little information for anyone using the GM Boost Solenoid and the Link Plus G3. I've found that the higher the duty cycle, the less boost, and not the other way around. For instance, my duty cycle at low boost is 82, and that gives 8psi on a 4.7LTT. I had it at 18 and it shot to the moon. Just some random info for anyone interested. Eric
  3. The problem is solved. Turns out the duty cycle was too low. Ramped it up and the tach works fine. Thanks to Watr from NZEFIfor pointng me in the right direction. Eric
  4. It's worth saying as well that the tachometer is being driven by Aux 4. Thanks! Eric
  5. Hi Ashley, I'm running a Link G3 Plus 2uzfe coil on plug layout in a 97 Supra, and I'm having a bit of trouble with the tachometer. The tach reaches ~5K rpm under power then the tach drops to 0 rpm while the engine revs are still climbing. I've checked the line going to the tachometer and that is fine. The tach itself is a new Pivot Gekko tach and other than dropping to zero at 5k rpm, the tach is working fine. I have two of my outputs set to "tacho" in the ecu, would that be causing the issue? If I have to I can wire the tach directly to one of the coil packs, but I'm not all that sure which signal that tach needs. Thanks for the help! Eric
  6. Hi guys, Does the Link G3 Plus have any provision to control a Toyota auto trans, or will it have to be used as a piggy back, controlling the air/fuel, timing, etc. while the stock ecu controls the auto shifts? Thanks a million for the great ecu! Eric
  7. Yeah, I had a bit of mail from Walter from NZEFI on the subject and he says the same . I went ahead and ordered the GM 3 bar map to suppliment. Thanks! Eric
  8. Hi guys, I have a AEM(bosch) 3.5 bar map sensor. Which selection on the Link G3 Plus works for that sensor? I don't see it listed directly. Thanks! Eric
  9. I had trouble when I tried to connect before I installed the USB drivers. The quick fix was to perform a system restore to 24hr's prior. Also, not to be Mr. Smartguy, but make sure 12V power feed to the ECU has a fuse in it. I didn't realize mine didn't. Thanks! Eric
