  2. sad . found the boost leak after  pulling wastegate out and just finnished refitting it .Intercooler hose popped off.due to cheap crappy  dsr  clamp poped aparter at the spot welds .crappy .had to weld it back up .
  3. further forward from boost moving my steeper motor, perhaps the gm steeper is resetting in differant places and the computer is reading differnt and causing the idle to rev incorrctly have tryd open loop and closed loop and always seems to change every time you drive the car once warms up it seems to stick somewhere and rev high then sometimes it returns to normal after a while checked throttle blades they closed disconnected bov vaccum and pluggged thinking perhaps sucking air as running lots of vaccum . vaccum gauge is maxing out when under decellartaion ?runs 18lbs at idle 30+ under decellartion .will this cause idle to fluctuate ?holding revs up. Bov spring does 17-18lbs and is there a way to speed up idle return as it has always takes a while to return to idle if clutch is depressed ?when it working good also have a 14 psi spring in wastegate and the car has gone from 14psi to 7 boost ? tryed shimming bov. the springs are new ish in the turbosmart 50 wg .will pull off and check this after noon shouldnt break ?
  4. i have a gm style iac valve that we believe moves perhaps under load boost , then the computer reads it open and alters the idle speed to fast and as it takes ages to reset and every time you rev it ,it goes hey wire we have tryed differant settings but cant seem to be making head way .but if i unplug it ,the computer  runs the car fine if itr is reset and closed correctly ? will this be causing boost leakage >?
  5. its a valiant. no trigger issues got 120pounds spring pressure found a cracked spark plug but still goes the same .is mint at idle n driving but when getting up to full boost and load it falls over . i have an edelbrock air only throttle body with a gm iac valve that plays up i get sticky idle .has anybody had boost move the valve open ? im only running 14psi boost! after sone time or if you turn the ecu off and reset it  it goes back to normal idle
  6. hi guys im having misfires under load seems like a rev limit Car runs out to rev limit under light excelleration easy and no problem but under load and when it reaches high boost it falls over, replaced plugs checked spring pressure thought i tmight be holding the valves open but no.all this at about 4800rpm, only change is a cam replacement but i did have to dismantle engine but cause its runs fine just not under load n full boost
  7. runtime error AN V3 at Ground am running an LC2 at anolog 3 earth at engine anolog voltage status shows ok any help or is this error due to initial engine start up and how do i change it to remove error please
  8. hi i have just installed an innovate LC2 and i want to set it to put the car in a saftey mode if the afr ratio gets to a unsafe level but giving the fact that it would need a start up delay and could i get some advice be great thanks o and i see on a previous forum that the LC1 setting will work with the LC2 is this correct thanks Ross
  9. hi guys have  changed my camshaft and now have a  random trigger one error.car runs fine for short periods but goes to fuel cut at idle due to rpm limit reached and this is all at idle .although the idle is erratic which i think is due to the skipping of the trigger signal i .disconnected the fuel and was still getting trigger error randomly while cranking  i think the rpm spike is as stated ealier .the only thing i have changed is the camshaft and had the distributor out which only has the signal pickup for the camshaft as i am running wasted spark .i have put a timing light on to test and it is as close as i can get as the dyno guy has locked the crank angle at 20 deg btdc and my indicator only goes to 15deg i will call him tommorow
  10. hi guys id like to no weather i can setup an engine kill delay into the computer instead of fitting a turbo timer .i know you can do pre-primes etc for fuel .so it is fessible that you can also put a delay on engine shutting down as what happens with a turbo timer Wot do you REKON !!
