  1. Im looking to buy that handheld controller
  2. I'm looking for one of this controllers if someone has one for sale btw
  3. So i'm trying to find mc33502d to import but havent had any luck. I have found: Mc33502DR2 Mc33502P Mc33502DG Mc33502PG Mc33502DR2G I also found that supposedly the following parts would crossreference as alternatives: MC33502 and AD8541AR
  4. One more thing, am i correct into thinking that both fpcm1 and fpcm2 outputs should give a 5v for the pump to operate at full speed and give 0v or ground to operate at low speed? Im thinking of using one output only to give both fpcm1 and 2 the hi/lo state that way my pump operates in only two speeds not three.
  5. Awesome thanks Adam i will see to import the mc33502d asap
  6. Is the above diagram a 1:1 scale of tps or 2:3? So i connected the stock ecu and tps v shows the same as attesa tps in v.
  7. Is the above diagram a 1:1 scale of tps or 2:3?
  8. I think i will just have to import mc33502d that takes quite a while...
  9. So after walking around i couldnt find mcp601 either I found a mcp230
  10. Hello is there an alternative mc part or circuit for these matter(cant find this mc in my country)? Is that "scap 100n 50v 080510%x7r" refering to one part (capacitor)? Having the same issue here on a r32 gtr. Also how should the two fuelpump voltage controller signals be? Thanks Jose How did your setup end up?
  11. Thanks guys, I will use all the info you gave me, today we tested the car at the rally track and it was all good. We had trouble with the exhaust manifold not holding up to the antilag heat. We also have very high IATs around 95degC with ic spray on all the time and 125degC without. We tested the car with the stock coil. I will be testing the msd later. I had the G4+ datalog key parameters and studied them after some laps, very nice datalogs.
  12. Hi, I tried to select "AFR" on the "units" option on my ANinput3 setup, and only Lambda shows up, not AFR... why? I selected my ANinput3 to "lambda" because I dont see the "AFR" option to select...
  13. Thanks Sardengineering, My main concern is if for any reason the DIS2 unit or the msd coilpack (specially the dis2) decided they dont want to work anymore (it has happened to quite a bit some people after some research) it would be best for stuff to be easily swappable. Since I wont be always available at the assistance point while rally racing takes place in many locations, this situation would present a big problem. Therefore, I think I have a solution for this. Turns out MSD makes some ignition adapters or ignitors. I think these could give a hand. I say this because people with stock engine management systems (some subarus out there too) have managed to install the DIS2 succesfully. In these stock ems systems obviously you cant change the output edge, or any other setting, so this should be the solution. I tried the "checking for spark" procedure from the msd manual, where instead of the ignitor provided the pulsed signal, you manually pulse it on the green/white wires (while ignition on of course) and I still dont get any spark. I tested the coilpack directly manually pulsing ground and it works fine. So the issue is with the DIS2 box.
  14. the 2 channel ignitors negative pulse is good and clear (98subaru ignitor)
  15. Hi, the stock coilpack has built in ignitors on the 99sti... im not using that coil, Im using a similar coil but without built in ignitors from msd (dodge neon coilpack) I had emailed the msd guys and they replied to me that on a completely stock car for example, I would have to wire the msd post ignitor ie ECU>Ignitor>DIS2>coilpack And thats what I did, I wanted to keep it simple for the mechanic and not have to swap setting from falling to rising on the linkg4+ ecu. I have just tested and have no spark, placed a logic probe on the wires going the msd coilpack and see a very weak and quick ground pulse (different to the stock ignitors clear strong ground pulse) So what coul I be doing wrong? MSD LED puts out code 3 (intermitent pulse trigger signal)
  16. Ok, So I have my 99stiGC8 rally car already running fine with the LinkG4+, Now its time to install the MSD DIS2 ignition system. I have left the wiring to the way it appeared to me as "correct" and it is as follows: Note: Stock 99sti gc8 wasted spark coilpack has built in ignitors. MSD people told me I had to have an igniter drive the DIS2 (ie. ECU>igniter>MSDDIS2>coilpack) So I left a 98gc8 igniter ready for use that is between the ecu and the msddis2 box. Quesiton: Is it possible to run the msddis2 box directly with the linkg4 ecu? I used the ignitor option because it was easier for the mechanic to just swapp those things in case of a faillure than to get into the software and change settings. cheers! Jose
  17. Hi Dave, thanks for the answer.... I asked because I just tuned (we never say "finished tuning" lol) a my99 Sti and enabled most features since its a rally car, one of them Antilag system is quite harsh on the turbo and on IATs... I did some datalogging and saw max IATs of around 120 deg celcius... this tendency to heat air also makes my ECTs increase and be around 100deg celcius... The car didnt heat up but just hovered around those temps while the car raced with the antilag system ON, the Engine temp gauge from the stock gauge cluster remained in the middle. Now I saw a little bit of knock on the spark plug (I havent yet set up internal knock control with the stock subaru sensor since I havent had the time to experiment)... and Im pretty sure this knock appears on this high stress situations because while tuning I always cheked the plug and did not see this. So Im guessing that probably the ignition timing for high IATs is a bit too much on my comp table. We have to test the car on the track now to see this and also if AFR is within range.
  18. Hi, How should the logic be, the colder the IAT the more or less ignition advance? Although most people say it should need more ign advance, I have yet to hear from someone that has tested it on a dyno to see if it gains torque or stays away from det. I was thinking maybe since colder IAT is more dense (as in forcing more air in ...ie turbocharging) we should retard timing as we do on higher load areas on a usual timing map.
  19. This is amazing!! I hope it can display linkg3 plus data too!! also could it be possible to set up warning alarms?
  20. Hi, Ive got a G3plus using PClink v3.4 Have we got password protection yet? cheers!
  21. I will be buying myself an xperia play soon so very interested in this too...
