  1. How rich were you running? If you have a wideband and you were reading say 11s when you got the car to idle before... then lower your master at least 6-10 points to see if that helps... Like Ashley said, clear all the fuel first and check the plugs, you probably foul them from running too rich
  2. On the G1, when I set the key in the on position, it takes about 3 seconds for the fuel pump to kick in. Question is, when it kicks in it pressurize the fuel lines, BUT, does it ALSO spray a bit of fuel into the combustion chamber? Also, a friend of mine has the same G1 and his fuel pump will start immediately at key ON… Anything I can do to make mine do the same? Thanks!
  3. A little more info on your setup would be helpful. What engine do you have? WRX, EJ257? Heads? What Link are you running? G1, G2 or G3? Was the car running before? When was the last time you started your car? Did it stop starting after you did some modifications? I have maps for my Subaru... 01RS with turbokit and EJ257 block. I run 760cc injectors. I can send it your way if interested. I use a G1 Link Plus. Send me an e-mail to [email protected] if you would like to get a copy of the file. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK of course... The car should definitely start, and the map is not agressive at all, so assuming you have a wideband, to at least monitor your AFR, you should be able to start it and put it on a trailer..
  4. I use a Serial Com, not the USB one. Are there any new drivers for it? Also, I noticed that we apparently need to use V2.5 to tune the G1s. However, I brought my laptop from work which had the V3.11 and I was able to tune without a problem. Can you email me the setup file to download this version (V3.11) on my VISTA laptop? Also, how would I go about installing just the VISTA drivers that you are developing now? Thanks!
  5. So... It would be a combination of a small crank enrichment number with a medium to high crank decay number...
  6. That's what I thought... Thats teh only way I could see it tune for timing..
  7. What about CRANK DECAY? My car used to start right up when I had higher compression (10:1 Subaru) Now I lowered the compression to 8.4:1 and cold starts take a bit more. I lowered the Crank Enrichment to 58, and my Crank Decay is at 12... Whats the purpose of Crank Decay then?
  8. I assume that by auto-tune you are only referring to FUEL, correct? Or will this new feature look at adjusting timing too?
  9. Bought a new laptop, and connected the Link to it to see how it worked. BAD NEWS. First it wouldn't read it. Then it started reading it. Now it says it's downloading the Table from the Link, but nothing comes up. Any suggestions? I use the SERIAL LINK to connect. The COM ports are configured properly, and I've even changed different port numbers to try different set ups. NO LUCK! Any help will be appreciated. Anybody in the Rockville, MD area that might have a USB LINK so that I can try to see if with a USB it will work? Thanks
