  1. Zombie thread bump! I've got my car back together and ready to make a decision about the ECU I'll use to run it and need your help! http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1880427 I've got a USDM 1996 Impreza Brighton GM body with the EJ18 motor. To this I've replaced the intake manifold, injectors and heads with USDM 1992-4 Legacy turbo EJ22 items. I'm using a generic aftermarket tubular turbo header/uppipe/downpipe for a USDM 2002-04 WRX EJ20 and the associated TD04 turbo. All the sensors, IAC, MAF, CASs, TPS, etc. asd well as coil and igniter are still the stock EJ18 items. I have the stock EJ22 ECU and I was going to make a jumper harness to plug this ECU into my stock wiring harness. Then I thought, if I'm going to make a harness why not take advantage of the 44S I have here just sitting on the shelf?! What I really need is a wiring diagram; either from the applicable JSpec WRX v7 this PossumLink was made for or for this 44S itself. As an aside: the CD that came with this LINK unit (purchased used) has instructions for PossumLink MY96, MY98 and V5. This doesn't jive with the above discussion that this LINK is for the V7 possible MY2001-2002. Thoughts? Thanks!! Karl
  2. Thanks for the help Cameron and Simon! So, this was made for a J-spec WRX running the V7 EJ20X, correct? What year range would that be? If I can find a pin-out for the appliciable wiring harness I can move foward I think! Thanks! Karl
  3. Here are pics of the front and back. You may notice on the back that there appears to have been some attempts to disconnect 2 solder points at the pins via scratching. I hope this is a "factory" action and not a user modification! Thanks! Karl
  4. There are no DIP switches/jumpers on the board. There is a spot on one daughterboard for a DIP switch to be soldered in but the spot is empty. Camera batteries are dead ATM but I'll work on fixing that so I can post a pic. Thanks!
  5. Sorry for posting in the wrong forum then! Moderators, plz move this post if needed! I'm unfamiliar with what is what when talking about versions of WRX's is the V7 a USDM version or J-spec? Thanks!
  6. In addition: There are two sub boards that have "TVGR" on the bottom. The board says "WRX 44S VER 1.1" on the bottom. Thanks!
  7. I just purchased a "NIB" Possum Bourne LINK unit. Supposed to be a 44S. Doesn't look so "new." Could you plz identify this unit for me? If I at least know what it is/what the application is, I can move foward on how I use it. Main chip sticker says: LINK SUBWRX2K 110402 Other 2 chips say: LINK SLAVE2KC 110402 S01WRXC CODE775 110402 There is a small paper sticker on the breadboard that has 106 printed on it. LINK on the breadboard with teh date 2001 The box says it's S/N 200 There are 5 plugs with the following pin counts: 31/24/17/28/22 Would this have come with a tune pre-loaded? No comm port/device was included either. Who do I buy one from? Will the software work on my laptop with Vista? Thanks in advance! Karl
