  1. Gidday. I have had my in bits tweaking the fuel system and its ready to start. I have repalced the 380cc injectors with 740ccs and want to adjust the fueling so its not too rich. I just want get it running well enough to take into the tuner as its sitting in my garage. I can hook my PC to the G2 to adjust the fuel map.I figured it would be easier to just adjust the master fuel control, say reduce it 50%? Just want to confirm before I play with it. Cheers
  2. I have been data logging for a while now and was thinking about tuning the car myself. I tend to modify something on the car every few months and tuning gets expensive. I figure I need an O2 sensor on the tail pipe and some connecting wires for the PC Is there a tutorial out there for learning to tune your car? I have a G2 on a wrx.
  3. I am looking for a new laptop , does the MS Vista software cause any issues for the G2?
  4. I am looking to tidy up my engine bay. My two aquamist pumps each have a pressure switch on top of the engine which operates a relay Can I get rid of these and have the G2 do that instead? And can I also do the same for the water sprayer? Cheers
  5. I talked to Infomotive yesterday and will get it sorted next week. The ECU just kills the engine normally when there is little load and its slightly cold. I have my battery in the boot so I am checking all the grounds and connections

Gidday, I had a G2 installed 9 months ago at Infomotive ,Rotorua The day after I picked up the car it cut out ( engine stops , roll to side of road, key off then restart) It went back and nothing was found. Its started doing this again and it seems to happen when the car is cold. Thats the only thing common to when it happens. sometimes downhill no load, sometimes uphill. When I get a chance I will contact Infomotive again, any ideas
  7. I have had an aquamist installed for a year now. Probably got ahead of myself and should have spent the money on something else (FMIC, new engine, etc) but it seems to do the job well. I have a stock wrx mill with TMIC and a VF23 and its putting out 213kw with the grey top injectors. Frustrating thing was getting it tuned, no one seems to know what to do with it.
  8. I have a walbro pump on the way and have ordered some 660cc injectors. Have you had much to do with water injection?
  9. Cheers for the input. What size injectors can I run using standard fuel lines to a parallel fuel rail and using a 2.55l ph pump? I guess 650cc at close to 100% duty would be about it? Currently my grey top injectors (380cc) are at 100% duty and are rather limiting.

  11. About the RA, I heard that in many cases it was not hooked up apart from on motorsport models. I am only running grey top injectors and these are maxxed out. My car runs a few mods and the injectors are over 80%. My plan was to run some 550cc injectors and a large 5th injector. I will size the 5th according to what I have left over from using stock fuel lines. I have the manifold and are doing a parallel fuel line on it and will feed the 5th injector from the return lines. Of course all this will require a retune and then there is the matter of wiring in the 5th. Is it going to be a mission?
  12. Is running a 5th injector on a 96 wrx as simple as wiring it up to one of the outputs or can I put it into on of the spare injector outputs ( I have 8 right?) Were the old RA manifolds with the 5th actually wired up to the ECU? Cheers
