  1. I have an Atom that I'm running on a BMW 4 cylinder. The engine was raced as normally aspirated for a year. Then that class is now nearly gone. The engine has now been fitted with a turbo to run in a more popular class. Since it is a hp controlled class, it would be really helpful to have closed loop boost control on the atom. I realize that this is available on you're higher end models. Is it possible to port the CL boost control software over to the Atom? I really don't want to have to buy another controller and rewire the entire engine. Thanks, Paul Â
  2. Why can't the software be added? I have the inputs from a hardware standpoint. You have the software available. It seems like it would be easy to add. I'm an engine calibrator for and auto OEM. I can tell you they have the full software in every controller and then just turn on/off the features based on the hardware on the car. If anything, it seems like it would make your work easier by having one software package.  I'm honestly very disappointed with this.
  3. Does the Link Atom support VVT? I have one in a race car and I actually have spare inputs/outputs available to run contiunously variable valve timing. It seems like the software doesn't support VVT in the ATOM. It supports a switched cam, but not VVT. Is there a reason for this? It would really be nice if this be added to the Atom software.  Â
  4. I made some headway. I modified the cam trigger wheel to have one tooth. It triggers when cyl #1 is at TDC. I also switched to a hall effect crank sensor as I was having trouble with the voltage thresholds on the VR sensor. I'm still getting one trigger error per crank revolution. The RPM signal is reading about 1000rpm when it is only cranking at 150 - 200rpm. This is when I have it set to sequential mode. If I switch to batch injection, the rpm reads correctly but I still get one error per crank revolution. I currently have the trigger priority set to #1. Should it be set to trigger #2? Am I running into trouble since my cam triggers at the same time as crank triggers at TDC?
  5. I'm trying to sync up a BMW 4cyl M44 engine. The cam trigger on the intake cam as an odd profile. I've attached some pics that I grabbed off of another forum to explain the profile. How can I make this work? It is running a 60-2 VR crank sensor. The cam sensor is hall. The cam sensor is at the red dot in one photo when the engine is at TDC.
