  1. Hi Rob Had the same issue when I installed my Ecu on my R34 Gtr. I just followed the solutions on the back of the manual and that solved the problem. I also bought a Optima Yellow top batt for good measure
  2. Jurgen Thanks for the suggestion. I applied it and the results are rock solid AFRs! Now getting my Open Loop Wastegate DC % to a flat curve and then to Closed loop. Even from a not well refined DC values, the response with the Closed loop is amazing, cant wait until I finish it. Thanks for the help AL
  3. Hi Jurgen Everything is well now just trying to get the best response out of my open loop boost control For example I have been working with 2 tables. Lets say TPS vs RPM at 100% Throttle First one 0-4K RPM 0=90 500=83 1000=77 1500=70 2000=63 -7 all the way 3.5K RPM=45 from 4K RPM on 10. Reasoning for this numbers was looking at the logs it was making about 20 psi at 10 and that is what I want to mantain. Second one TPS vs RPM at 100% Throttle 1000-4500 K RPM=55/ 5000 K RPM=47.5/5500-6K RPM 42.5/6500 RPM 40.5/7-7.5K 39 and 8K RPM =37.5
  4. Hi Jurgen thanks for the response. I am not sure what happend, I attached my boost table but I guess it didnt make it to the post. I discovered that my Mac valve was plumb in incorrectly. I fixed the issues and made the hoses as short as possible to help with response. I can control boost fine and steady now, just doing some tweaks of AFR target and fuel. In your experience which one is better for response TPS vs RPM or boost target vs rpm
  5. Get Martin to map your car, top chap and magic with the laptop
  6. Jurgen I had a read regarding plumbing my wastegate to the mac valve. After a bit of time I re do the pipes, result rock solid boost at 1.3kg and wastegate screaming...lol back to happy days. To answer your question, i lifted of at 1.67 because i knew it has going to spike to something crazy like 1.9
  7. I tested my boost solenoid and is working. I get to much boost on my current boost tables. I am just aiming for 1.5 kg of boost to 8k rpm, currently i get 1.67 when i lift off at 4.3rpm. Any suggestions? maybe I need to lower my map limit currently it is a 300kpa at 60degres, i am running a 7 bar map sensor. Any suggestions or inputs are greatly appreciated, this is the only portion that is driving me crazy
  8. Just wondering if I will be correct in wiring my aem afr gauge to the white wire of the expansion harness for my r34 gtr. If I am correct it should be the 5v supply which is the same indicated from aem website. Also all the info in the manual is great but is it possible to have a bigger and better picture of the connection inside ecu used for the expansion loom and what are their respective colors. It will help me a lot, as well as other I think.
