  3. Hi guys, anyone know how mappers go about tuning and datalogging on the early link ecu? is it a case of plug in laptop and datalog on a run - then unplug laptop - plug in tuning module - make adjustments - unplug module - plug in laptop - and datalog on a run again etc etc. is there a way you can monitor and tune at the same time? cheers Mark.
  4. oh dear, the tuner I was speaking to said it could be tuned via a laptop and serial link??? also noticed on the other side of the circuit board it says evo 1999 v4.0. I thought the version 4 was tunable on laptop? thanks again

  7. Hi guys, I've just bought a second hand link ecu for my mitsi lancer evo 6. it didn't come with software, pc lead, or any info (other than it has a conservative map approx 280bhp as it was used to run in a new engine). I've just taken the casing off and there is a sticker on the bottom of the board which says "MIT78" and a sticker on the chip which says "EVO456K290402". Can you please tell me exactly what this ecu is G1, G2???? also what software and pc cable do I need? Thankyou very much for your help! Mark.
