  1. Ok, here goes: Car is a 1995 Nissan 200SX S14 (zenki) with the Link G4 plugin. Has been running fine since tune last year, but recently, the CEL came on. Connected my laptop, and the error code was that AN Volt 5 (my TPS) was below error value. and it would come back instantly when clearing the code. Ok, so last night I decide to check what's wrong. I first checked that the TPS was ok, and it seemed to be (it's a 3-wire Bosch). While I was checking the wires and the TPS, I noticed my splice(join of the wires were looking half bad (they were joined/spliced since this TPS isn't the stock one), so I decide to redo them. Did that, cleared fault codes again, still coming back.. This shouldn't really have to do with what happened next, because from out of nowhere, the fuel pump starts running (I had the ignition on/engine off to check the error code with the laptop), and not stopping. Me and my friend who was with me, were pretty dumbfounded. What just happened? That's when I also realized I lost contact with the ECU. I turn off the ignition, and now when I turn it on, it's the same thing all the time - fuel pump keeps running and I cannot connect to the ecu. I am horribly afraid of my ECU being dead, please tell me it isn't... Didn't do much more last night though. It should be added that my fuel pump is running off the battery with a relay in the trunk, where my battery is also located.
  2. Oh and by the way - the boost solenoid is wired to the stock boost control solenoid wiring from/to the ECU harness then?
  3. Excellent, then it is as I thought! Thank you Simon! And I must have missed the very expansive help file of PCLink (hadn't downloaded it yet), but now I see that it has loads of information!
  4. Well I just realized, there's two wires on the IAT - one is ground, the other for AN Temp on XS loom?
  5. Hello! I recently purchased a Link G4 Plug-in for my SR20DET 1995 S14 (pre-facelift). I also bought the Link 4 Bar MAP-sensor and XS loom and IAT-sensor. I just need some help, even though I'm sure this info is somewhere, I'm just new to ECU installing with the sensors etc, so I hope you will bare with me First off, the company I bought my things from sent me the 5V version of the MAP sensor - I don't suppose it's possible to re-pin this to use 12V, since the diagram that comes with it shows 12V on another, unused pin? If not, is there any recommended 5V I can use - the +5V from the XS loom, how many things can I use that with? I need for the MAP, the IAT and my AEM wideband sensor - but the wideband, shouldn't that be wired to one of the analogue 0-5V outputs? This is probably very simple, but I think I'm overcomplicating things (and is also not very smart, hah). And then there's the boost controller - I have an electric boost control solenoid from my GReddy Profec B Spec2 boost controller, which I'm assuming I can use, but I havent found any information in the manual how to connect/install the solenoid with the ECU, any info on that? Thanks in advance for any help!
