  1. I do have the stock early Crank pickup system if required... Pic show what style it is.. http://forums.hybridz.org/uploads/500/med_11058L28-crank-trigger.jpg Would that possibly work ? Or would i need to fit a diffrent tooth wheel ?
  2. Im doing a full up L28ET build and have converted a Rb cas to run off the factory L28dizzy shaft system. Since the L28's Shaft runs off the crank it runs in the opisite direction compared to the Rb which runs off the cam shaft. I'm also running Rb20 coils and a Rb20 ingnitor pack. Im wiring in a G4 Storm, Needing to know about Cas Rotation, Does the G4 require the trigger system to rotate in a certing direction?, Do i need to modifiy my CAS disk and flip it over ?. Or can the G4 use one marker point on the CAS and still run a coil of plug system ? (Im under the impression since the RB Cas has 6 diffrent size slots that this isnt possible) Cheers guys Pic of cas
  3. Thanks ive emailed. Just looking at my CAS now. And its 360deg slotted and has 6 identical slots on the inside. SO looks like it wont work
  4. Whats the cost alone for the subboard change ? Do i have any benifit of upgrading thr software to the v5 version? Does that give me more tunning maps? (detail ect) The orginal CAS on the l28 i was going to use was the 360deg/6slot dizzy/cas But i presume since im wanting to use coil on plug (subaru with ignitors built in) It has to be changed ?
  5. Yeah thats what im running is the 81 Crank driven CAS, Im not sure if the link will run that setup (not a 35/1 tooth ect setup) Ive just gotten some Subaru coils with the ignitors built in, So thats that head acke out of the way.. Chuck me a txt on 0210327731, Im in the nui!
  6. I have three setups, one that the l20et runs, (optical pickup inside the dizzy) And then the normal vacume avanced dizzy that came with the l28e. The last is the crank mounted pickup system that was off the early l28's Delivers the same signal as the optical dizzy system. Im wanting to go this way to get rid of the dizzy And run a external coil on plug setup. The following numbers i have atm off the main chip. are as follows D42V3 16/01/02
  7. Aaron.. Yes im in wwellington.. But have a r30 coupe. No Z'd serries sorry. The l28 setup im using can use two ingniton triggers. I have the normal optical CAS inside the dizzy which is pretty common. But i was wanting to delete the whole dizzy as it is and run a crank driven pickup. Another L28 factory setup, (used vacume/avance dizzy)
  8. Question of the day, I have gotten a lem-v3 ecu (off my brother in law) Its been currently running a GTI-R pulsar with a gt3040 ect. I understand that it will need to be changed to the application Im needing. Maybe possibly a software upgrade. Are the v3's upgradeable to v5 status/software ? And what cost am i looking at ? Its going to be running a L28et with wastered spark. Cheers

  10. the l28 i have has two options. One with the internal Optical pickup/cas system inside the dizzy, and i have a external setup that runs off the crank. Ill try and get a even better pic for you lot

  14. thanks for the reply. It looks like a later version as the case is like the normal V serries link's. White case ect. It was orginaly running on a B6T in a tx3 laser.

  16. well im able to get a link LMX pretty much free. due to t heir old age. I would been keen on trying this on my L28ET build im doing. I know the LMX is a simple ECU nothing majory fancy. Would this actaully run a simple l28et setup effectvly ? And be able to support around 250rwkw ? Thanks for the replys
