  1. Thats true and I allways do this but all Audi AAN/ABY/ADU/3B Flywheels have the factory OT Mark on the same position and so the Hall window on camshaft. So the degrees should be in a range of 62-58... thats why I am asking about the 72...
  2. I know this is a old thread but maybe somebody knows why -72 degrees. Value for 135th Audi trigger should be -58 degree?
  3. Ok, I see... so "Ref Timing" is only used when I am in the Set Base Timing Menü - to strobe the ignition settings to a fixed ignition timing... thanks.. now I understand the icons key and lock too but when I put in new settings, they are not taken when I leave the menu... maybe ECU must be online?
  4. Why can I not change these settings? The are locked. ?? Right mouse button - unlock settings does not change anything...
  5. this is only on my XP Laptop... Win7 64 is fine

    Missfire

Are you sure, Lambda is showing lean because of missfire? Or are you getting missfires from lean mixture?
  7. Audi AAN Motronic puts definitly a 0-5V output for boost gauge in cluster... so cluster expects 0-5V... I know this exactly... you have to use a 250kPA pressure sensor and put the rare output signal to the cluster.
  8. ANTI LAG ignition retard table has NO issue. If I type in -45 it will be -45. (ECU still offline) NOW THE ISSUE IS PRESENT IN ANTI LAG IGNITION RETARD TABLE! If you type in -45 it will be -44
  9. Ok I think I take an ignition output (6,7 or 8) with scotty diod for ISC solenoid..
  10. Hi, Link Thunder has two internal Knock channels. But I can not find any settings for allocate the specific cylinders to a specific sensor. For example, on 5-cylinder inline engines, there are 2 knock sensors. Knock sensor 1 for cylinder 1,2,3 and Knock sensor 2 for cylinder 4,5. How can I set this up in PCLink? How does PCLink knows, which knock sensor is allocated to which cylinders? (also interesting for 6 and 8 cylinder V engines) regards
  11. I will test this soon.. but first I want to prepare my whole startup config and a my loom adaptor.. But sure, I can do this online because I can run my all my ECUs on bench with external power supply. But I hope there will be a fixed version soon ;-)
  12. Ok thanks... so for 2 wire I have to select Aux1 as solenoid, for 3 wire I have to select Aux 1 and Aux 2 as solenoid... After that, PCLink knows what kind of solenoid is connected...
  13. ... cant tell you... sometimes I might be blind... sorry... I didnt use the Content Tree... only the Search Funktion but in PCLink Menu, I can only select between 4 wire or 6 wire (or am I still blind?) And here is something interesting: When I select Aux 1 to ISC Solenoid, the PCLink Menü Item for "Stepper Motor Type" disappears. When I set AUX 1 back to OFF, The PCLink Menü Item for "Stepper Motor Type" does not come back. When I change the ISC Mode from closed loop to open loop or vice versa after that, the PCLink Menü Item for "Stepper Motor Type" comes back - and this is independant from the the Aux 1 setting. It also comes back, when Aux 1 stays at ISC Solenoid. ??? thanks a lot
  14. Ok thanks... I will have a look at this :-)
  15. I want to use the original Bosch 2 wire idle solenoid. I can see the 3,4 and 6 terminal ISC wiring is described in the PCLink help file. And, there are only settings for 4 Terminal ISC and 6 Terminal ISC under Idle Speed Control?? Is there a way to use 2 wire ISC solenoid? best regards
  16. Same in Fuel IAT Trim - Axis and values FIXED IN 3012
  17. Same in Ignition Table when entering negative values FIXED IN 3012
  18. Same in the Boost and WG Trim Tables... FIXED IN 3012
  19. Hi, in LINK there are trim tables for Boost and Wastegate Duty Cycle IAT, ECT and Gear... It would be so nice to have Exhaust Gas Temperature EGT Trim Table for Boost Target and Wastegate Duty Cycle like my old ECU best regards
  20. Same issue in Trim Tables for negative Ignition values. Not in Axis but in table values... allways 0.5 lower than it should be... (I type in -10 and it changes to -9.5) FIXED IN 3012
  21. Same issue seems to be on ALL negative Axis values, not only Load! SEEMS LIKE IT IS FIXED IN 3012
  22. Thanks... Yes, as I have to look into every single setting in the next weeks to get as familiar with the LINK as with my old ecus - I will report ;-)
