update bought another new link usb cable and from limited testing seems to have eliminated the issue

Tim, I turn off auto updates to avoid that problem so I can rule out graphics drivers etc., also don't have programs running in the shadows. Scaling back the logged parameters and/or log Hz may work but would still only be a bandaid to the problem. I will try it out though. Koracing, the screen in use only shows basic lambda, rpm and boost so not data hungry but will try with a blank screen.

Ej257, internal igniter cop, bkr7e plugs it will remain connected for hours if it's not logging. The screen doesn't turn off on my laptops. After more testing today it'll do it at anything more than about 4000rpm. It's baffling that nothing has been changed with the car to create the issue in the first place

Hi all, With pclink connected, if logging to laptop the program randomly closes generally just as I start a wot pull. Never has the issue if Im not logging, and I'm not seeing any issue in the onboard logs. I am logging a lot of parameters at high frequency, could that be an issue? I have tried with both my laptops running the same software as they were both set up at the same time. I've only got the one vehicle to play with at the moment so not sure if its the car or the software. version 3669

Looking to upgrade from g4+ to an x in a v2 wrx to take advantage of dbw and a few other options. What i/o's and their location, get consumed by the dbw mod? Don't want to find out too late that an i/o i had planned on using for something is no longer free.

resolved the issue. there is a 3 pin plug on the AC compressor, 1 pin is clutch, 1 is gnd and the last one shorts to gnd under certain conditions (no gas maybe?). one wire was shorting to gnd which stopped fan 2 operating.

fan 1 turns on in test mode but 2 and 3 do not. something odd happening that needs deeper investigation I think

v1/2 wrx / bc5 rs legacy, g4+ plugin ecu only one radiator fan comes on when set temp is reached even if all 3 fan settings are identical. both fans activate with a/c. with oem ecu, both fans come on at specified clt temp. has anyone come across this issue before and remember what was at fault?

Link can lambda G4+ wrx plugin ecu Having an issue intermittently where the o2 swings between showing 0.00 and 10.00. With decel cut active, lift off throttle swings to 10.0 then reads 0.00. Sensor is a new genuine bosch 4.9 with less than 500km. Any idea what may cause this? Adding to this the runtimes window is now showing i think it was error 24

scope is blank or shows nothing obvious? this tune is the only one i have handy and did work but was very quickly compiled and rough EJ20g.pclr

i originally set up the tune on this engine before dropping in the 2.5 and retuning. trigger mode is v1-6 and filter is set to default of 1 2 logs attached. cranking.llg Trigger Scope Log 2019-11-26 5;32;23 pm.llg

No settings were changed. Complete manifold inc coils was swapped over.

does anyone have a reasonable VE table and ignition table for a wrx v1/2 ej20g with id1000 they would be willing to share? by reasonable I mean starts and runs. having some difficulty getting the 2lt to start after switching out a blown 2.5

Hi all, V1/2 g4+ plugin ecu, 05 wrx knock sensor in standard location, ej257 with v3 heads. Engine only has 1500km on it. I'm constantly seeing knock from idle to redline regardless of load or timing. only way to get a zero knock reading at idle and any rpm is to turn off cyl 1 sensing while leaving 2, 3 and 4 active. what can cause this to occur? will upload a pcl file later today edit: attached most recent .pcl i have access to currently. all knock settings should still be the same iirc current 2-4.pclr

Its a v1/2 wrx g4+ plugin. Only AI other than the above currently is IAT.

Hi. Im trying to free up auxiliary I/O's on g4+ plugin to enable use of dbw. Is there a module? available that can read the sensors i have currently oil pressure and temp, fuel press, ethanol sensor, pre and post I/C water temps, and feed out to the ecu via CAN without too much complexity? Thanks

There is a help file in plex software that has the necessary settings for pclink.

Hi all, I have a vdo 5 bar fixed ground sensor that i know is accurate pressure/resistance and am trying to wire into g4+ plugin to verify a suspect sensor. what is the best way to wire in and configure a sensor with only the one wire connection?

After removing and reinstalling pclink a second time, the problem has rectified itself. I have set up IAT and Oil temp sensors and had them both working correctly on inputs AN temp 2 and 3. No changes to setup have been made, but both sensors have now started always displaying their error value. anyone ever had this happen or have a clue as to why? other than updating pclink software, only thing I've played with since it was all working correctly is CAN settings to get my dash working.

Solved. Trying to set up a plex uSDM100 via CAN to g4+ ecu. The uSDM has Link settings pre loaded but cannot figure out what the ecu end should be set to. Anybody got one working that may have overcome this problem simply?

I have a g4+ v1/2 wrx plugin in a bc5 legacy RS. My question is what output/input needs to be turned on for the water to air intercooler pump to run? Also can it control the hi and low speed of the pump? Many thanks
