ok, so i just tested with one smart coil on cyl5 (VAG tfsi coil). And i have a spark when cranking... I cannot understand why it works with the igniter using ignition test but not when cranking.

i use 2x huco 138052 igniters. I checked and both 12v and ground are ok on the coil when cranking. I crank the car with cyl 5 coil removed and dummy spark plug. Here are runtime values when cranking. I ll make a log now? Any specific parameter to log ?

i dont see any limiter active while i crank it. I use oem coils (BERU ZS177) with external igniter.

hello guys i put a g4+ xtreme on a porsche 3.2 year 1999. Trig 1 is 60-2 and trig 2 is hall 1 pulse. rpm signal is fine and stable. no error. But i have no spark wen cranking. Ignition test is good. Anybody can help me fine the issue ? boxter s dev.pclr

hello I use a plugin G4+ on my 32GTR. All is fine except speed signal wich vary constantly from correct value to half the value. Please see log attached. Anybody with the same issue who found a solution ?

Hello all I just finished wiring of an Extreme ECU on a MX5 NC 1.8. (Swapped 2.5 but same trigger) I cant find a trigger setup to work on this engine. Wiring is ok I join a picture of the oem setup. Wich trigger should i use on this ?

here is a screenshot of a pull in the logs. you think of a bad rpm sensor ? I know for the calibration, it s there to match the ple tuning dash i have. I need to sort that. but i tested with a good calibration and same isue. I wiill play with that tomorrow,

Hello I m pro mapper but i struggle with my own R32 GTR RPM limit is set at 9300 in normal mode. and in my logs it always cuts at arround 8000rpm. It is not really better in advanced mode. I tuned several link ecus and never had this issue. but other cars didnt had such high rpm limit. Another rpm issue is that when i use GP limits for fuel and oil pressure, it also cuts very soon (around 4000rpm), even if in the table it should allow 10000rpm I join my tune. r32 220717.pclr

I checked and yes pin 16 is always at ground. +12v on pin45 or not. seems mosfet dead as you said. It could explain the strange behaviour i had at the time when pin16 was continuously switching. can i replace this mosfet myself ? I run a chiptuning company so i have equipement to do this. Can you give me a picture of it and the ref of the mosfet ? regards,

ok I test the power inputs and report. currently ecu hold time is 2.00sec the speed frequency is jumping around yes. i need to check how the signal is created on this car.

Hello, I m a pro tuner in Belgium, I installed a few Link ECUs on customer cars and love this thing. Now I installed one on our demo car (Skyline R32 GTR), it is the plugin version G4+. First issue, ECU hold power : Ecu was fine at first, then i upgraded firmware to activate knock control. I few minutes of parameters check after, i began to have strange ecu ON-OFF behaviour, whithout touching the ign switch. I figured out it was the ECCS relays that were switching all the time. I bypassed them and car started ok. Now i plugged back the relays normaly and no more switching, but ecu stays ON as soon as I plug the battery, So the ECU switch the ECCS relay as soon as it is plugged to the battery, dispite IGN switch being ON or OFF. This creates bad engine stops as engine is staling because only fuel pump is of. Is it maybe firmware issue or probably hardware issue ? Second issue : About vehicule speed. The value constantly move from a value and its double. So for exemple I m at 50kmh, I read a value constantly switching between 50 and 100. I played with the input parameters but not a lot to play with and same result. Is there a way to include a filter on this input ? Regards,
