Not all Plugin ECUs have the High side driver for Aux5-8 fitted as not all Plugin ECUs require that functionality, I suspect that the EVO3 is one of those plugin ECUs with the High Side driver chip not fitted. Best course of action is probably to hit up tech support to see if you can get that chip fitted to your ECU.

Engine fan 2 is always on in that log so maybe make engine fan 2 & 3 temperature settings the same or higher than engine fan 1.

well, been measuring. turns out the switch was an old style one but with 3 wires. 1 wire with different voltages depending on how you use the switch. that wire is connected to DI7 at the ecu. it needs a pullup to work so had to switch it to TEMP3 to allow for the ecu to read the voltages.
DI10 turns out to be the on/off switch.
    everything working now. thanks!

Probably because that is right by the neutral point that it is sprung to which will be the least stable point.
You can use the PID Setup functionality to see how much each part of the PID loop contributes to the overall value.

It started up with your fuel table! Then the revs kept rising so I panicked and shut it off lol!

Vaughan got a reaction from Adeeb Chowdhury in 1jzgte vvti no spark!!!
your ignition switch input is inactive and so it is cutting all spark and fuel, ignition switch needs to be active or the input turned off for the engine to run.
Also your MAP value doesn't move when cranking, was that log taken with all the spark plugs removed?

Vaughan got a reaction from Takuto0187 in Lambda not giving any readings
Have you set Analog Inputs -> Lambda 1 -> Lambda Sensor Control to Link CAN?
Attach a copy of your tune and a pclink log of the engine running please if that isn't your issue.

Vaughan got a reaction from CamrySv25 in Which model ECU should I use for a 3sgte gen4 from a Caldina st215
Ignition 1-4 outputs are available on the main header and so with some re-pinning it will have no issue controlling Caldina coils (I had caldina gtt coils on my gen2 3sgte for a while). G4X also supports ignition and injection reallocation these days so you could use ignition 5-8 or any set of 4 ignition drives as desired.

Before updating read the PCLink and Firmware release notes to see what has been changed between your version and the version you are updating too, important things that need checking are often highlighted in red but it is a good idea to check everything.
After updating you can do a compare between your ecu on the new firmware and a copy of your basemap on the old firmware to see what has changed or been added in your tune.

I see my mistake now. The Sample file I was using had FP on AUX14 so I changed to FPSpeed.
AUX14 can't do open loop so had no option for frequency.
Thanks Vaughan, we got there in the end.

yes you can load G4X maps directly into G5 ECUs. Main difference between the Voodoo Pro and Storm/Xtreme ECUs in terms of pinout is make sure you are powering both the Ignition pin on A6 and the Main power on A5, there are suggested power wiring diagrams in the G5 PCLink help manual.
