  1. Hello! We are running different Link Ecu's on our engines (4-cyl). Question I have is: Normally we run direct spark and sequential injection. But if we lose the cam-signal (for example broken sensor) we would like to have the oportunity to switch to waste spark. Since we have 4 separate coils this will not work (only fires 1 and 2 when in waste mode). Is there a way to get around this problem? Best Regards Martin Claesson, Motordesign Sweden
  2. Okay! That sounds logical. Thanks Simon.
  3. Thanks Adam! Will try this. Bye the way... I'm right now working with a Nissan VQ35DE engine. Have a Fury for this engine, and we plan to use the VVT-system (only inlet on this engine). Saw that you have a basemap for this engine, but ECU in basemap is Extreme. Is there a simple way to take this basemap and change ECU to Fury?
  4. Okay! Thanks for your answer Adam. Problem is that all analog inputs are used. We only have one digital input left unused.
  5. Hi! I'm trying to achieve a launch where you simply hold the rpm at a desired value - push and hold the launchbutton, and the rpm stays still. I use the GP RPM Limit 2 and in the table I've used digital input 1 (wich is the launchbutton) on the Y-axis (0 &1). X-axis is rpm in step of 500rpm, starting at 3000. On the 0-line I've written 9000 in all (RPM-limit is 8300rpm), and on the 1-line I've written the same rpm as on the x-axis. The plan is that if you hold the engine at 5000rpm, and push the button, the engine should stay at 5000rpm. But... It doesn't work. The engine goes directely to the lowest rpm written on the line (3000). Any suggestions? Best Regards Martin

Problem we have, is that the enginebuilder didn't mount the original sensor correct. And now it's broken. We decided to put in a normal cam-sensor instead.

When looking in the help, I can see that Honeywell GT101 is NOT recommended as trigger. Is this only for crank, or both?

Adam... You saved my day. Thanks a lot. Engine is now running.

Okay! I will test to swap the wires. and also set the threshold as you suggested.

Aftermarket 36-1 wheel on crankshaft. Honda standard cyl pickup (camsync). Engine is still misfiring, and I can se rpm-peaks that are really high (more than 10krpm, even as the engine only running at high idle. Using flying lead harness.

When looking at the scope capture everything looks really good. But I still having problems with misfire. I can see rpm-peaks up to 15000rpm, and the shiftlight in the dash flashes. All this when holding (or trying to hold) engine steady att approx.2000rpm. Someone who used the original crank/cam-trigger on a Honda C30/32-engine. Should this work with Link G4+ in sequential mode? There are 4 sensors (crankA, crankB, CylA and CylB). If I understood correctly, there are 24 tooth on the crank with NO missing teeth.
  12. Hi guys! We have built an C30B (3,5Litre) here in Sweden for Rallycross. Using G4+Extreme Red. Aftermarket cranktrigger (2-pole inductive) with 36-1 triggerwheek on crank. Using the original sensor for camsync. Seems like we're having triggerproblems. When cranking both trigger1 and trigger2 turns green and says "yes". But still I can see in the fuelmap that rpm are very unstable, and sometimes even the shiftlights in the dash flashes during cranking. Engine fires up and it sounds normal when cranking, but after a few seconds it misfires. Any suggestions about this?
