  1. Hey Adam, Appreciate that info again. We've mucked around with air gaps extensively. I'm just going to go back to a 12-1 for now and just see if it sorts my problem.. I have access to a balancer to try it so why not. Are you able to give me some instructions on how to change what I have to 12-1? Like do I just need to change the trigger type in the menu and that's it?
  2. Not sure on the air gap Kenny, I know when it was in with the tuner they mucked around with this a fair bit and it didn't help. I'll try rotate it 90 and see what happens, can't hurt for literally 30 sec work. Interesting video but, had no idea they looked like that inside, thought the entire base was the sensor. Cheers.
  3. Hi Adam, See attached. Do I just go the 12 tooth profile instead? This has been plaguing me now for the best part of 3 years.
  4. Great, still full of trigger errors.
  5. Hi Adam, See below log of a run after those changes. Can you see any improvement? aferlimiterchanges.llg
  6. Should I be using any specific PIN on the ECU for ground drain for the shielding on these sensors, or will any ECU ground suffice?
  7. Will make those changes and re-test, thank you for the screenshots and information Adam.
  8. Would someone be able to please let me know how I can see potential trigger faults using the log file myself? I just don't know where to go/what to do in pc link to for it to show that.
  9. New log file after after changing trigger 1 filtering to level 1. Log 2023-08-20 10;27;59 am.llg Very keen to get this sorted now so ill try anything. Can you tell me if you are still seeing misfires Adam?

  11. Thanks Adam. I added a 1k external resistor already but its persisted. Been an issue for a while now, see below thread, same issue still. Ill back the filtering down and take if for another run and see what it does. If that doesn't solve it, should I just look at doing a 12 tooth instead?
  12. This one here Adam: https://www.efisolutions.com.au/zf-cherry-hall-sensor-red-m12 I did select all when going to log setup before running the log session. It has two of these one on crank and one on ex cam
  13. Hi, I have a nissan 26/30, when taking off "briskly" sometimes it will rev out fine, sometimes it backfires and doesn't appear to reach limiter. I capture a log tonight where it occurred once, if someone could possibly take a look as to the cause it would be much appreciated. I noted after it did it, I could see a red warning about limiter activated, but again it appears to be doing it too low in the rev range. I wanted to also see if it had any trigger faults. See attached. See log below as its 20mb, attached is ecu. https://thelemons-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/james_thelemons_com_au/ESo_S0TSa1BDunyaGMugVXQBp4qcINml2emIAWTx-Wd9rg?e=hR9j99 Cheers. james_ecu.pclr
  14. Hi Guys, Just wanted to see if someone could glance over this tune and log file, and just see if anything unusual or wrong may be occuring? I have just made some changes after having trigger issues (have now wired in external pull up resistor, 1k and changed cherry supply voltage to 5v) Just want to make sure everything else looks OK. The log is after making the pull up change, but I don't think I got high enough in the rev range on this drive to reproduce the issue. Basically it was getting to 6600rpm etc, then backfiring, like it was hitting some kind of cut, but tuner told me it was trigger issues higher in the rev range as the cause. Limiter it set to around 8k I think, but never makes it, always backfires before then. I suppose ill have to re-capture again and give it some beans this time. Cheers. 2630.7z 20.09.21.pclr
  15. Thanks Adam. It's not much effort to try right, so as well as grounding the shielding, I'm going to give it a crack. Is there a preference for where the resistor should be located? ie ECU side or near the sensor output? I assume because the internal 4.7 is in the ECU, that ecu side is OK. Just easier to protect it inside the ECU case. Cheers.
  16. Thanks Adam. It's running the ross 36-2 profile for crank. It hasn't stopped it from being tuned for the most part, but every single time I have got it back, someone has mentioned it losing timing at the very top end. The other day it was that bad they just pulled the pin on the tune entirely. Yeh its running the gs1005 currently, which I'm led to believe are OK for missing tooth pattern. So in your opinion Adam, don't bother trying the external 1k? Cheers.
  17. No I don't have it grounded currently, as in the shielding, thanks for letting me know that. So I just ground the shielding at the ECU side? The thing that gets me, is I have seen these things work properly with un shielded trailer wire, so would it really be that causing my issue? Don't get me wrong, I'm going to fix it anyway, but I'm just not sure if it's the root cause. Would there be any benefit at all in putting in my own 1kohm resistor. Understand the internal pull up will work, but would the external 1k be better? That's what I'm trying to ascertain ATM. Based on Adam's comments in that thread, and info from ZF, it should really be running a 1k. Cheers.
  18. Hi guys, Running a rb26/30 on a link g4+ ecu with the ross cam/crank trigger kit on it, cherry sensors. Car is running well, but losing timing up top for some reason. Limiter set to 8200, made it to 6600 on the dyno the other day before a loud backfire. Had to abandon the tune. Tuner said something is going on where its losing timing up top, suspect sensors or wiring. Now I have ran new wiring to both the crank and cam twice now trying to fix this issue, to no avail. I'm using shielded stepper motor wiring. I have been fighting this thing with noise up top for lord knows how long now. As well as re-wiring it, have also dropped both sensors out and re-checked air gap etc also. Anyway, I would like to confirm a couple of things. Based on this thread here: Would I be correct in saying, that if I am supplying 5v to both sensors, that I should be using a 1kohm, with pullup set to off? I have ordered 2x new sensors, the gs1005021, I believe they are a replacement for what came with my ross kit. So as well as chucking in 2x new sensors to eliminate that issue, I want to make sure I have the fkn things wired up properly. From the above thread, they way I read that, I potentially should have been running a 1kohm right from the beginning? Cheers.
  19. Ill change the flow rate lower and see how it goes. Cheers.
  20. It's full time e85 yes. So is it currently too lean?
  21. Hi all, Long story short, I had 2200 CNG injectors running on a 26/30. I went to 2400cc siemens which was a nightmare (my fault for trying to run them on that ECU I think), now I'm back at 1650cc bosch. I have loaded my old 2200cc tune, then changed the injector value to 1650cc. Car will only run if I pump the accelerator, soon as I stop doing that, it stalls. Base fuel pressure is set to 60psi. I have a proper tune booked in for Wednesday, just want to be able to crawl my way down, they are literally 10 mins away rather than get a tow. If anyone can take a look at the attached tune and log file, I would greatly appreciate it. This forum has been a massive help so far and I am in debt to a few smart people on here already. Cheers. 1650_start2.llg 1650_tune.pclr 1650cc_start1.llg
  22. Thanks heaps Adam. What injectors would you recommend going?
  23. Hey guys, 26/30 in a r32 gtr. Idle will just drop off randomly and stall. Like you can set the idle set screw, will idle fine, then clutch in coming to a stop, it will start idling fine the just stall out of nowhere. Siemens 2400cc inj. I think it's had some trigger errors also. Logs and current tune: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgHRVnwxDzLUj1QHcczZngRSirZ4?e=yFzcY1 So just wanted to get an idea of what trigger is having issues, and what might be causing the idle to just die. Log1 and 2 should show trigger issues, but 3 i moved one of the connectors I was sus on, and it ran fine after that. Going to re-wire that part tonight and it should be good. I'm starting it again with a bit of throttle (only way it will start) which is fine, but I just don't want it stalling at every single light I pull up at. Cheers.
  24. Looks like i need to start with at least switching crank enrichment on and taking a look at that.
  25. Just a follow up to say I used the arcol HS50 2.2's, worked a treat. Just lopped off the connector from the factory dropping resistor, then wired them all into that, used a metal box from jaycar as the enclosure. Just plugs into existing loom now. Ended up doing 896whp, no ill side effects from what the tuner could see.
