    G5 GPS

Hello all. I am on the Firmware which enabled WiFi And this is my configuration. I had thought i'd enabled GPS but it doesnt seem I have it in the runtime values. Anyone know what could be the cause of this? I did not set "reset" to "active" as that does not seem like it turns on the GPS? Am I missing the mark here? The help file does not seem to suggest that anything other than just connecting it and setting to Interal is needed. Any help would be much appreciated. What I'm trying to do is have some traction control using GPS as the front wheel speeds( long story but I cannot get front wheel speed via sensors ) vs my rear wheel speed ( working both fine ). Also does anyone have some starting point values to setup traction control? The end goal is to use an incremement keypad button to switch between different slip allowances

    Idle Up when in Gear

Actually I think I figured it out. I did a static GP idle Offset by a GP Output that has conditions Cond 1 or 2 or 3 Gear == R Gear == 1 Gear == 2 Offset idle by x Where x is a static RPM number. This seems to have worked

    Idle Up when in Gear

I should clarify that I send gear over can. I don't have a neutral or park switch in this case. So Basically I'd like to have a function that says if Gear == [ R, 1, 2 ] && idle == active then offsetIdle(x) Where x could be a percentage or a static number

    Idle Up when in Gear

Hey folks - I'm working around some deficiencies of a trans controller ( dual clutch trans ) and im wondering if someone has an idea how I may accomplish this.. My car idles very nicely around 900 rpm ( shoutout to the gent who tuned my car ). Without going to deep into the trans controller.. the car seems to go very low RPM when attempting to move forward. However I noticed when in warm up still - when the idle is higher, this is a non issue. Is there some way to take gear ( which is sent to link ) and idle up when Idle active Gear = R, 1 , 2 ? Thanks!
  5. Jose at Link helped me out here. Thanks all

    G5 WiFi

Thank you Vaughn. Youre a legend!

    G5 WiFi

Now that this out in the new pclink and firmware... im not sure where to find how to to use it. Is there a guide?
  8. Heya folks - I'm trying to better understand how to handle some of these custom can bits. I have a custom can file provided by the Link Team ( thank you ) But I'm trying to now send also in that can file - clutch temperature ( CAN AN13 ).. and I can't for the life of me figure out how https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nDTLSYIFdmk3Q_2xUufUk5ahEawp7Mne/view?usp=sharing Here is the file... Would anyone be willing to do me a solid and either tell me how to modify this myself in the future or help me make the change? I believe this was previously mapped to CAN AN14 and has sense needed to be moved... so since then it's been broken. Thanks a lot!
  9. Ah that makes sense. I'll take a crack at that. Are there any base maps with any examples perhaps I could leverage as an example? Thanks!

    G5 Log Mark Function

Oh solid. I can try that - that's agood idea - i was wondering if there was just a specific mark function. This works though!

    G5 Log Mark Function

Wanted to separate this from my previous question as it's a bit different so sorry for the spam. Is it possible to bind a "mark" function in the logs via a can keypad button? I'm finding it difficult (hobbyist) to determine where a given event that I'd like to review actually is in the logs. Thanks!
  12. Hey folks. I'm looking to setup something extended from the normal boost gear wastegate trim table. What I would like to do is modify the value in the table based on a button positon. I'm making a few assumptions here. So for a good chunk of my map we are at 0% duty cycle, and most of the rest we are at 65%. So - Button Status 1 ( LED state 0 - off ) No modifications to the table Button Status 2 ( LED State 1 - red ) Modify the wastegate trim table for gears 1,2,3 ( the only gears we ever modify ) by -100% ... to set to gate pressure Button Status 3 ( LED State 3 - cyan ) Modify the wastegate trim table for gears 1,2,3 ( the only gears we ever modify ) by -50%.. to set to 50% of gate pressure. Would someone be willing to provide an explanation of how to setup a button to perform this function? Thanks!
  13. Very weird. I'll report back what I come up with. Thanks for all the help thus far.
  14. I'm just gonna do the silly thing and do the converters first. It's simple enough to do and it's confirmed working with these sensors. If that doesn't work the oscilloscope it is. Is there any truth that beyond DI 4, You can't do VR wheel speed? It's just a thought from reading the docs, not conclusive so I figured I'd ask.
  15. Attempted the above. There was no change unfortunately. Will try the converters as I've seen others do with these sensors and see what happens
  16. I'll try that today. I would imagine that viewing the runtime value for the input would show a value whether I am logging or not? My mistake.
  17. Yeah sorry that was from me playing around a bit. I've been focusing on the rears. And those freq channels have " NO DATA" , not 0hz
  18. Here's a link to the tune file. Sorry for the delay - I was not near the car at the time https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aBbVYknEOh7UQL-exFa54tC_bqmodnc4?usp=sharing It's notable to mention I am using DI 7/8 for the rears.. docs say VR sensors can be used for DI 1-4 but nothing about anything beyond that. Perhaps thats the issue?
  19. Ah yes- looks like the first image... So this indicates it should work no? I'm not sure whats up... Here's how its wired. I understand this could possibly be reversed accidentally. Wheel speeds go: 1 Wire into a sensor ground. Pin 24 of the " A " Plug on the ecu. ( shared amongst the two rear wheel speeds ) 1 Wire to a DI
  20. Okay just verified some things. Not the RAV4 sensors. 2006-2011 Camry in the rear 2002-2011 Camry in the front
  21. Interesting. We do use rav4 in the front. So should I do the vr to hall effect converter?
  22. Okay I just watched frequency. No data all the way up to 70kph. I've tried pullups on and off. okay edit just popped a sensor out. Put a magnet to it, No frequency change. Someone I know seems to think you have to have a VR to hall effect sensor converter and that works for them. So perhaps I should do that.
  23. I got the wheels to 70kph ( as verified by my trans VSS ). I haven't viewed the frequency so I'll try that. These sensors are used on the wilhelm knuckles and supposedly work well with the stock MR2 ABS so I imagined they would still work fine?
  24. Hm that will be difficult as my harness is pretty much fully sealed. Is this just a case of maybe the wheel speed calibration is off?
