I AM TOTALLY NEW WHAT THE LINK ECU´S REFERS AND I ALWAYS WORKED WITH MY OEM ECU AND WIRING AND I HAD TO LEVEL UP SO I BOUGHT A G4+ XTREME. AT READING THE MANUAL IT SEEMS THAT DOING THE WIRING IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT AND IT'S NOT VERY DIFFERENT FROM HOW FORD MAKES IT FROM THE FACTORY, SO MY IDEA WAS PRACTICALLY JUST SWAPING EACH WIRE FROM EACH SENSOR, GROUND AND POWER BETWEEN THE WIRING HEADER FROM MY OEM ECU TO THE LINK'S WIRING HEADERS. BUT WHAT STILL NOT WELL UNDERSTANDING IT IS, IF I HAVE / WANT TO PUT 8 COILS IN DIRECT SPARK FOR MY 5.4 4V IS IT COMPLETELY NECESSARY TO PUT 2 FOUR CHANNEL IGNITER MODULES TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THE COILS WORK? OR ONLY WITH THE CRANK AND CAM TRIGGER CAN THEY WORK AS IT WOULD WITH THE OEM ECU?

Hi guys, We just completed the first that we know of Coyote Aluminator swap into a 1989 Porsche 928. For good measure a Whipple 2.9 supercharger was piled on top with a 20% overdrive pulley setup. The power is transmitted to the wheels via a Corvette Z06 transaxle and torque tube assembly with an oversized Driveshaft Shop driveshaft and upgraded axles. To control it all we chose the powerful Thunder ECU. We will also be running a form of boost control via supercharger bypass valve to keep the car under control in the first few gears. Once we get it to the dyno and tuned we are expecting around 800WHP at around 15 psi. Looking forward to playing a bit with this one. Blaine Carmena Carmena Performance
