H00dzy Posted August 27, 2019 Report Posted August 27, 2019 going from 4 wire cam sensor to 2 wire reluctor sensor whats the setup for it i know one wire is sensor ground and the other is for the ecu, but im stuck on trigger 2 wire from ecu does it play a part in the sensor. also wanting the setup info required for link lem g3 with g4 firmare as the settings are a tad diff from g4 + as stated in the setup instructions Quote
Adamw Posted August 27, 2019 Report Posted August 27, 2019 Trigger 2 is not connected and should be set to sync mode = none. Basic settings as below. Set the trigger 1 arming threshold and trigger offset to NZW suggestions. Quote

Directly meas the sensor during cranking i can see 0.3v but somehow trigger 1 and 2 both can read 0.17V. Both scope not in a wave form but irregular spike... any suggestion? Quote

And both working right now The instruction indicate white wire to be - and black + trig 1 It is obviously switched. Swap the 2 pins on both setup. I manage to start just in 1 crank See this, it referencing white wire to be ground..... Quote
