Fotis
Hi everyone, I am wiring a link Fury into a yamaha r6 engine , for our formula student team. Just wanted to clearify before i shrink the wiring, the engine has a 24-2 crankshaft sensor and a 3 wire cam sensor which is indentified from the factory as Cylinder Indentification Sensor. Anyway what i want to really know is, if i wire the cam sensor will it work? Or should i evaluete the Cam sensor and go wasted spark etc? To my guess from the factory wiring the pin out is following : 1) Ground, 2) +5V , 3) Signal has a common power feed from map sensor. Thanks in Advance. Richard Hill
I would say best bet is to wire the triggers up temporarily, power the ecu up and do a trigger scope while cranking. Post the llg file here and I'm sure someone will be able to verify it. HTH Richard.
Fotis
The problem is i will have to crimp all the connectors and then redo. Don't have extra connectors.
