Link G4 and E Throttle issue

I have the Link G4 Storm and E-Throttle (as attached) on a Subaru EJ25 (circa 2006) throttle body and pedal, in an off-road buggy.

It has developed a problem where it will start and idle but wont rev when the pedal is depressed.

Checking the module, the LED turns green when the ignition is switched on, then changes to red, and the goes out completely.

Reading Google I believe that green is OK, red means there is a fault, and no light means no power or not "enabled".

We have taken off the pedal and throttle body, cleaned everything, the butterfly is not stuck, which leads me to believe there is a problem with the unit itself?

Can anyone confirm or offer any suggestions?

I dont have the software to see any fault codes.

The butterfly doesnt move at all when the ignition is turned on.

We have established that the throttle opens at about 3.6v and closes at about 0.6v.

The pedal voltage increases as it is depressed.

You will really need to get a laptop connected to the ECU to diagnose.  If the ECU is not happy about any of signals from anything related to E-throttle safety then it will disable the E-throttle module (LED off).

Its not impossible that the module is faulty, but it is far more likely to be something like one of the pedal sensors or TP sensors is not matching within the strict tolerance allowed.
