Pieter Gouwy
Hi, I've installed a Link G4+ into a Jap spec JZA80 Supra and i made a loom for VAG R8 coils. Does this in fact work on a stock loom, do i need to take the ignition amp out of the loom and bridge it? Anyone already done this, and could shed light on how to do this? Thanks
Rossobianconero
Hi, those coils have the igniter build in, so you dont need the igniter module on the loom that the stock wiring have.
Mike2J
Wire your coils using "Vag Coil Normal/Long" No need for stock igniter. You can delete completely or just bypass. Run your ECU signal wires direct to ECU and repin/rewire your signals to B57 - B52 on ECU pinout. You can take your 12v from the igniter wiring, or there is grey 14 pin plug in passenger footwell that supplies voltage to igniter & coils from factory, you can wire to this as well if its easier.
