VK56 Cam Trigger

Hello! I have a VK56 with a 12 tooth crank mounted trigger wheel with no missing teeth. When viewing the runtime values while cranking I am getting RPM and Trig 1 & 2 Signals both say 'Yes' but I am getting Trig 1 error counts. The trigger scope for the cam is showing a 1-3-4-2 pattern. Will i need to modify the cam so there is only 1 tooth?

Thanks

Yes, for sequential with a 12 evenly spaced tooth crank wheel you will need a single tooth on the cam.

if you want to run the stock 10 tooth cam you will have to run the matching 36-1-1 pattern on the crank.

Or you could grind one tooth off the crank wheel to make it 12-1 and run it wasted spark without a cam sensor at all.
